we are on very different wavelengths when we're loopy.

    Indeed.

One of my shticks for years now has been to take modern technology and apply it to Santa Claus's operation in some way, because the thought both amuses and intrigues me.

And you probably noticed by now that safety equipment is a bit of an obsession of mine, so naturally I end up combining the two...
  • Bad Santa is a depressing movie. I don't know why anyone calls it a comedy.
  • i clicked on a pony video, youtube will be recommending ponies to me forever now

    mom is still mad

  • If i could be anything, i would be a comedian

but i am terrible at making jokes

I'm thinking of Ponyville's self-imposition against using unicorn magic for Winter Wrap-Up

I've always felt this to be arbitrary and time-consuming, because if the unicorns could use their magic it would be over much faster

I have read an interpretation that the earth ponies (Ponyville was founded by earth ponies, and this is the source of this rule) use this as a way to stick it to the oppressive unicorns or something

Another thing: if you have the power to control seasons, why would you even bother with winter?
Perhaps skipping winter would have some kind of environmental impact that would make it necessary?

Plus a lot of mammals would probably be pissed off if you told them they couldn't hibernate anymore.

Bernie Mac is one of those people who shouldn't be dead
  • Solution: Become a comedian who inserts himself into other people's conversations. I can see no flaws with this idea.

The cartoon drawings—just black outlines filled with matte colors—of supple, chubby felines capture the cats’ adorable qualities as they purr, exhibit their fluffy bellies and pink paws, and sniff with their “dainty little noses." . . . This bit of wish-fulfillment is, frankly, as irresistible as a kitty’s belly."

I think it's an attempt at tradition. Though, given that pegasus are allowed to fly, it is pretty arbitrary.

Also, Earth Ponies seem to have high-society types as well. They just live in Manehatten.

CA touched on this, but it's probably a good idea to watch "Snowdrop" if you haven't.

Basically, Winter is needed for some of the animals and allows the earth to recover. Though, who knows how scientifically sound that last part is.

    Hur hur hur.

This is my sneaky way of asking for recommendations, notice that it is completely a dumb question posed as a joke in order to prompt you to make suggestions.

There was once a small cafe

    it was bustling, yet cozy

there was a shelf of games there as well, for customers to play as they drank their drinks and ate their pastries

    there was Jumanji

    there was Checkers

    and

    of course

    there was Battleship

a set of bookshelves, assembled by a father and his adult son, with cupboards in the bottom

the cupboards are open, and paper pours out into a pool of documents inches deep and many feet across

somewhere in the pile, unbeknownst to all but one, is an envelope

that one person is currently intoxicated, and deathly afraid of opening it

it is from her boss, and if she had, the check she did not know it contained could have paid the rent
  • on the aforementioned bookshelves there are many books

one of them is The Second Sex

    there is also a bible

    and some encyclopedias

there were many others as well
  • There was a video store

many years later, having moved back to the city, it had changed locations

the kind elderly man who ran it had died, it was run by his widow now

passing by it later, it was gone entirely, replaced by a beauty salon
  • way back there was this kid named christopher

he was not white, he went to burger king once a week

    i can't remember anything else
  • in one grade this kid named timothy stole my mittens

he did many of the other mean things that elementary school children do too, though i cannot recall them

before we moved, i do recall that the class sat in a circle and we passed around a figurine of some sort, and the person who was holding it had to mention something they would miss about me.

many mentioned that they would miss the interesting things i said during class projects. i did not think the thing i said were interesting, as i assumed that everyone knew everything i knew. looking back, in second grade i knew all of the science material we would learn by eighth. timothy claimed that he would miss playing ball with me.
