I am also the sort of person who hates easy modes and thinks cut-scenes should be short and games should always challenge and not have unnecessary padding and also is sad that arcades are falling out of favour, soooooooooo yeah.
I feel like the anti-easy mode sentiment is one of the many reasons the gaming community is viewed as elitist and exclusionary.
you know if there is one thing i have learned from the internet it is that most people mean well somewhere deep down, but they gossip like a knitting circle made up of chatty parrots, cannot leave each other alone and are subtly influenced by all manner of weird and arcane neuroses and stereotypes and shit and really who can put up with them goooooodddddddaammmnnnn.

I never found her to be much of a bother myself. Her bits of insanity merely seemed benign.
Same here, mostly, though I'll admit at the time I largely hadn't been exposed to the full weirdness of the internet yet and thus found a lot of what she said fascinating more than anything else.
Really I was kind of a late bloomer, internet-wise; I never really did much online until 2008 and I was almost 18 by then.

I mean, look at this. It's obviously fodder to gain views from angry SJ people.
Yeeeah, it's not even a particularly good one. Bad fake logo (though that may be one of the terrible logos they've used lately, I stopped paying attention after the first three), poor grammar, and awkward phrasing obviously intended to bait outrage.
I am fine with DLC when it's basically expansion packs, I don't really like aesthetic stuff (unless it's the only thing supporting the game, in which case I'm fine with it) or things that should've been in the game in the first place.
on the other DLC, my opinions are known, and will not be restated.

I read a good article the other day on this but I don't save things because I'm an idiot, so I couldn't find it for you now.

I have acquired a bluetooth keyboard for use with my Nexus 7 (a working one this time!) and the first trade paperback of the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic comic, with the second one to be shipped once it's released.

seriously
I think HH is particularly chatty about others, but, yeah. People are weird and interesting, scary, cool, boring, and so forth. But pretty neat.

Anonus: Hee hee, I knew you'd mention MGM when you saw that!
So apparently the job which my brother assured me I would probably get ended up being a job I will probably not get.
Sigh.
I just hate how hard it is to get a job. I am so sick and tired of never having money. I really resent how a minimum wage job is somehow considered a privilege.
i am the very epitome of wit class and expertise in all fields of magic. Come one come all to Saturday's birthday extravaganza. Featuring the talents of noted small people Li'l Wayne and Li'l Gideon.
imho macklemore's worst lyric is still that he made an "r. kelly's sheets" joke and followed it up by whispering "pisssssssssssssssssss" as if the joke wasn't fucking obvious already.
A religion is faith in something that there is no evidence of. If otherkin had a more organized system of beliefs, it would probably be called a religion. There is nothing wrong with having a religion but you also have to realize what a religion is.
I wouldn't say that`s accurate. While religions may contain elements that aren`t verifiable by science or historians, they often contain elements that are as well.
And sometimes even the more contested elements have SOME support that, while doesn't present an iron clad reason for belief, offer more resistance than others. For instance, one can find material that at least presents a reasonable defense of The Gospels, though one probably would't find such material defending, say, that Adam lived to be over 900.
So while agree Otherkin beliefs would be better received if presented as part of an organized religion, I think it`s important to understand what that means.
Also contrast the aforementioned Scientology that has evidence against it in the form of its founder saying some damning things.
On that note, Otherkin beliefs lack much in the way of any sort of defense except the personal belief of the adherent, BUT they usually lack an obvious motive for faking the belief as well. In fact, usually the belief seems to bring MORE external stress to ones life.
So, I guess my response in these cases is to at least wonder why exactly someone believes they`re a half-dragon, half-cat soul instead of dismiss the notion out of hand.
peeps on this forum have a bad habit of resurrecting volatile conversations from several pages ago.
It's a form. Kinda the point is you can respond to things at your leisure. For instance, i would have responded over an hour ago (and liked what I typed less, I might add) if I where at home and not on the MAX visiting downtown with my daughter.
