The Light Dress is one of the most powerful pieces of armour in the game. Also, the "sexy" personality is female exclusive (ugh) and one of the best personalities in the game in terms of stats. (Above average everything.)
I don't think the NES version has personalities but I do own the Game Boy Color version as well. :)

hmmm soooo I can get more than halfway through the Raiko fight; I just need to do the usual extra stage drilling to perfect all the patterns... this will probably get really painful like it always does. Except with Mokou in Imperishable Night; she is relatively easy compared to most of them and I did a really good run full of spell captures to unlock one of the Last Word spells.
Female characters get better armour. :P Since there's a few female exclusive pieces, but no male exclusive pieces.
Aren't they just weak fanservicey swim-suits though? :p

The last shot type in most Touhou games is really frustrating to use, I think, and the first one is the easiest to use. I just wanna see ending number 6...
I want to be like Flynn from Tron and own an arcade. :D I would have all of the best shooting games but also other sorts of games. I love arcades because I am surrounded by video games but I haven't been in one in like a really long time.
If I owned an arcade an entire wing would be dedicated to metal slug games

Speaking of Arcade games, did anyone ever play this beat-em-up arcade game where the plot of the game was basically "You fight terrorists on a cruise ship" (There might have been something about rescuing the president's daughter or something similar, it's been a while)? I used to play that a lot as a kid and I'm trying to remember what it was called and I'm failing miserably.

I just don't know if I want to live in the LA area (near the entertainment industry)...the Bay Area sounds like it has a prohibitively high cost of living for someone in my financial situation, and I don't know enough about the other parts of the state...Sacramento seems to be a fairly quiet major city...

I spent like half of the day failing various Touhou challenges and succeeding at none of them. :) I would want to never ever ever ever try lunatic mode again but I already beated one of them in that mode so now I feel that I have to eventually beat them all in that mode even though I absolutely abhor it and find it hair-rippingly, teeth-grindingly, glass-breakingly frustrating.
hmmm they stopped making arcade games and have switched focus to putting bullet hells on smart phones. I still wonder how these games are realistically played on such devices. :o Dodonpachi Maximum is their newest shooter (I think?) and it is also the first to be designed for phones instead of arcades. Alas, arcades are dying. :( But I want to have an arcade...
