More people have said that and been killed than there are thorium decay products.
arrrgh I really do hate the bomb mechanic in Touhou games. It is infinitely frustrating. Especially since bombs do not always protect you in the new one.

so I've got my new laptop given to me via govm't money.
it's a windows 8 but it's surprisingly nice, as this laptop (a Dell. Fuck Acer. I'm never getting an Acer product again. Ever) actually has touchscreen capability so I can feel like a futurist.

Though I don't think I would want another Dell anyway
I also have no idea what the specs on this thing are. Hopefully it can run my games ok, especially the ones I payed money for. CK2 is pretty finnicky with this kind of thing.

Which is terrific because when I get that back as a refund on the 9th we're going to use it as first month's rent to get a place to live. ._.'
Hahaha if it helps my family's in a similar situation
At least my student loan debt will be going towards something worthwhile...?
saaaaaaame.
I think I might have actually used all my grant money, but the loans are also government loans. So at least I didn't have to go to a bank. I'd be broke in a few years.
this was almost $800, which is also in the same price range as my last laptop (the one where the keyboard broke, the harddrive fried, and then the replacement harddrive went wonky). So hopefully the specs are similar.
It's smaller but heavier. I wonder what to think about that.

I cheaped out on my last one; I think I only spent about $600 on it? I know that makes me sound pathetic, but it was nice to have a newer, more reliable computer if it's really a rather low-end one...
I went expensive on mine, partially because I could, and partially because I wanted a huge FHD screen -- the screen on the Gateway was 1280x800 and thus a little cramped.

Hopefully my games run well on it.

Also it's got this cool sunk-in keyboard.
