I love when he misinterpreted a message from Marzipan and left an angry break-up message of his own, only to realize his mistake later, causing him to run to her place and swap her answering machine tape with one where he impersonated all the townspeople.

OK, admittedly I've never been a huge Kick-Ass fan, but I at least respected what the original comic was trying to do as a sort of a Super Hero deconstruction story.
I felt the original movie kind of missed the point of the comic by basically making a more traditional, if darker and edgier Superhero movie. But can at least appreciate it was a fun action romp in scenes.
I just read a synopsis of Kick-Ass 2 and it reads like a mailed in Garth Ennis comic. This doesn't read like great movie material, let alone comic.

It's very boring, not necessarily in the sense that there's not much to do here, but in the sense that it's physically very...samey. Most of the state is flat as a pancake (thanks, glaciers) and covered in farmland or forests. I mean, if you've seen one cornfield, you've seen them all.
Of course, I am rather lucky in that I live in the biggest city in the state and also a decidedly liberal one. I often see Columbus cited as a "gay mecca" of the Midwest...
