I can't listen to this without thinking that "Mama's weight control" (?) references Raven's mom, and thinking that "Papa's schedule control" is referencing Raven too. This is because for a long time I thought Slade was her father, and though I realized awhile down the road when I was young that I was incorrect, the association still comes to mind. Thus, I'm getting some weird vaguely Binding of Isaac vibes from listening to it with subtitles, since Isaac kills his mom and stuff in the game. So this is mostly shaping out to me have some very odd feelings. Thankfully it'll all break later on. You needed to know this.
Twilight Sparkle was clearly to busy making out with her new royal guard to do much more than get a crown back from across a freaky, bipedal dimension.

The second ark (issues 4-8) is pretty good! Probably not quite as well written as the first ark, but it improved on a few aspects and it was good to focus on a few characters who maybe don't get so much attention in the show.
Good story idea though, and it's executed well enough.
I guess it helps that this thing is clearly written by bronies for bronies with enough appeal to younger fans that they'd likely enjoy it.
