I just noticed that one H is at a different position than the other H in HH.

I noticed it right away. I like it, although on its own the lower barred "H" would probably annoy me.

I always liked that the two H's don't quite line up. Somehow it makes it easier to see it as two separate letters instead of just some meaningless lines.

first episode of season 2 is a disjointed series of images and vignettes that make little sense even with the context of season one, without it, it's downright absurdist.

of course, Big O is weird in general.

Yeah, I've heard that Konaka's run as The Big O's showrunner took the weirdness to new heights. Which, as someone that enjoys Konaka's writing, would normally not worry me...

I have heard that. It's rather sad, and might honestly explain why people find that season so confusing: A Konaka-penned series without a proper ending is going to wind up with more hanging threads than a spiderweb in a hurricane.
