You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022
also what do those weird passive items in the top right corner do? I got a Pushpin and Cancer (the sentences we say when talking about video games....) and don't know what either did.
From what I can tell, Binding of Issac is a combination of Team Meat's existing fascination with bile and squick combined with religious, sexual and gynecological imagery.
Though, to be honest, fear and trembling isn't far off. The kid attacks with tears, for crying out loud.
Frankly, it's kind of disturbing, to the point that I refuse to buy it despite it's tantalizingly low prices.
So the boss I was just fighting bugged? Killed him and then his health bar just straight up refilled, and then after I hit him a few more times he just kinda exploded.

And I'm saying that as someone that's been using free software (DFSG-free, anyway) and Open Source stuff since 1995, if not earlier. Yes, the Raspberry Pi is a little too dependent on Broadcom and its quirks, but on the other hand, where are you going to get a teensy yet fully-functional Linux PC for $40 US? The BeagleBoard is more open, but also more expensive, and most of the other projects mentioned are either too experimental, too expensive, or both (for one, OpenCores really needs a Xilinx or Altera eval board to be useful, and they ain't cheap).
Intel's PC chipsets are some of the most extensively documented devices on the market now (yeah, yeah, the CPU microcode isn't free software, but we'll ignore that for now), but it's not likely even now that you'll see that in anything smaller than Mini-ITX.
The Raspberry Pi is therefore a compromise, and like most compromises, it won't please everyone.

This is kinda why I steered away from it for so long.
That said once you get into the gamey part it's pretty easy to distance yourself from the imagery and focus more on the actual playing of the game.
Also the unicorn item is great.
So the bro drew Bad/DarkRay fighting against ol’ Limbless Wonder himself and requested (read: forced) me to help with coloring them in.
I had a little fun with it, as you can see.
I have no idea how in the heck I'm gonna manage to make Ray look okay, though, mostly because he turned out... well...
