I need one for my Nexus 7 charger because the connector on the old one is kinda screwed up and won't hold very tight, but I don't want to replace the charger itself beacuse it's a 2 amp charger and I don't have any others of those...

99.61% complete. Ouch, lunatic mode. That hurts. u_u I think this is the third or fourth time that I got to the very last attack? I wasted exactly one bomb during the entire playthrough; I think this costed me the run.

I was just reading the data sheet for the Maxtor 7120AT (old hard drive), and I noticed that it has like 4 or 5 translation options. That may be one of the drive's actual problems.
Most modern drives translate logical CHS to LBA, then from LBA to physical CHS, but the 7120 didn't do it that way—it's hard CHS, and you had to pick a translation. If you got the jumpers wrong, odd things would happen. (The reason those jumpers were there in the first place was for the benefit of old 286 and 386 machines without user-definable drive parameters; they matched standard types from the IBM and/or Compaq drive tables.)
On top of that, I suspect another part of the problem was the horrible old VLB-hosted IDE boards that were around in the early-mid 1990s. They sucked, even on a computer with a perfectly functional VLB and no overclocking or extra slots, because the drive timings were always just a little bit off and the drive itself would get confused. I would not be surprised if one of those damn things was trying to talk to it faster than it could actually go. This is something that wasn't actually fixed until after ATA-2 was introduced in 1994, and the Intel PIIX1 came out in 1995.
Yes, though it was a tiny bit vague if you weren't familiar with how the old IBM PC/AT and Compaq Deskpro did things. They came from the era of "ST-506" drives, which were really just glorified floppy drives; the computer even talked to them like they were floppy drives, addressing things by what track and sector they were at on the disk, and which read/write head to use to read it.
On those machines, there was no auto-detection and no built-in setup program; you had to boot the diagnostic floppy, tell it what "type" of hard drive was installed in the machine (there was a whole laundry list of them, and you had to know which one to use by looking at the manual for the drive, though Compaq was thoughtful enough to put a sticker with the type number right on their drives), and then format it and partition it like you still would now. A lot of people who worked on machines from that era have the parameters for ye olde Seagate ST-225 (20 MB, Type 2, 615 tracks, 4 heads, 17 sectors) burned into their brains even now, since it was incredibly common to the point where other makers, like MiniScribe, made drives compatible with it.
The 7120 came out right around the time things started to change, though. A lot of "PC clones", as they called 'em then, had third-party BIOS ROMs that would let you type in your own parameters for a drive. That way, you weren't limited to whatever types the manufacturer thought to put in the ROM, which limited you to around 100 MB or so. The really nice machines would read the parameters right off the drive (something IDE provided for), meaning you didn't even have to type anything. This is how all machines work now, as a matter of course; I don't think I've had to type in drive parameters in years.

Hi everypony
I want Anonus to have his girlfriend too
Also I think I might be too rough with USB cables...because I had two Samsung ones, but they wore out after a year or so of use and now the connector barely holds into the phone.

So Anonus is apparently unable to access the site
I went ahead and passed Lee's DNS advice (see the announcements thread) on to him, hopefully that works...

I don't follow the meta super closely, but IIRC they've been trying to balance the game a bit.
