Programming hangman is complicated to a programming novice like me. When I comprehend the whole program, I want the narrator from the original Donpachi to shout, "Ya did it, kid!" or "Nice job, rookie!"
ow my brain. I am progressing through this very slowly and barely comprehending it maybe, but whatever at least it is not total gibberish to me like college-level math is.

ok I think I am never ever ever going to be a good programmer but like I will keep reading this anyway because I will learn things maybe. I really am utterly useless, hm?
A world where the Disney actors at Walt Disney World are perpetually trapped there, and Mickey-O-143 tries to convince a tourist to help him escape. And then they get captured and meet the boss with Walt Disney's face for a mask.
What am I even doing, this belongs in the writing thread.

And there's basically this evil empire headed by the guy with the mask, and there's a secret rebellion and there's this scene where Beast stops working for the bad guys and sacrifices himself to allow the tourist to escape and it looks really cool.

GOING FORWARD – EXPANDING THE LIBRARY
1. Discover something which would be of value to the Archive
2. Research the history of genre, historical/social context, etc
3. Read the Wikipedia entry for the genre and log all relevant artists
4. Read related literature (e.g. Mark Pendergast's The Ambient Century in the case of ambient music)
4. Check for essentials
5. Generate a Custom Chart at rateyourmusic.com with the following parameters: TOP + ALBUMS + ALL-TIME + ONLY INCLUDE GENRES: + [GENRE] + SUB-GENRES + AS RATED BY RYM USERS
6. Log the top 20 entries / albums with a score of 3.5 or higher
7. Cross-reference Collages, Wiki recommendations, literature highlights, and RYM Top 20 to find recordings named in 3 or more sources. (Get these albums first.)
8. Obtain all box sets and compilations related to genre
9. If there is a label directly associated with genre, pick up a complete label archive (Ninja Tune, Warp, Ohr, Nonesuch, Deutsche Grammophon Avant Garde, etc)
10. Pick up all albums, EPs and singles from all artists within the top 20 release map
11. Structure ALBUM tags and folders chronologically by date of release: "[YEAR] ALBUM"
12. Construct playlists:
A. ~60-100 disc map of albums representing the genre
B. Record label playlists (if applicable)
C. Compile a top 10 Essential Albums set
D. Generate separate playlist for artists with 50 or more albums in their discography
13. Listen to recordings, beginning with albums from step 7, then top 10 essentials list, then first 2 LPs from each artist, and so on
14. As most of these recordings will be decades out of print or have never been produced in a digital format, you will not be able to purchase these hundreds of albums from commercial sources like iTunes.
You'll have to be more creative than that.
15. THE MOST IMPORTANT STEP: Purchase original pressings of the finest examples from these collections. Buy directly from their labels where possible or order original first pressings from Discogs.com.
16. And finally, take on the role of an educator - speak about and blog about your findings and inspire others to follow your lead.

All of you "audiophiles" have been upstaged
I wouldn't mind doing that with certain strains of post-punk, post-rock, industrial, noise rock and/or isolationist/drone ambient.
Maybe I could make myself an expert on something in that way...

I am here now. I stopped doing programming and started intensively drilling in lunatic mode again; I did not manage to see four whole attempts through to a game over like I planned but I was beginning to get frustrated so I stopped. I hope that one day my lunacy pays off and I clear the game. It is scary, the accuracy with which I can judge whether or not my hitbox will be able to squeeze through something, such that it looks like I am ramming myself into a solid wall of bullets but then I slip through them.
btw yesterday I literally ran through the entire game in my head, going through each and every attack and enemy wave, and all of the movements I make to deal with them (the exceptions being Patchy's spells, as the five spells that she uses are different depending on which shot type I am using). Playing any mode besides lunatic is near-automatic and I can clear the game with hardly any effort.

Oh hey it's that song I was referencing. I think I've made like three rferences to Sublime songs in te fpast an that 's the first time someone picked up on it.
For those wondering, the typos in my previous ost were cause d by my use of a USB keyboard that's like five years old combined wit mthe fact that I'm currently using the Xbox 's Internet browser.

Where can you get decent Micro USB cables?
I need one for my Nexus 7 charger because the connector on the old one is kinda screwed up and won't hold very tight, but I don't want to replace the charger itself beacuse it's a 2 amp charger and I don't have any others of those...
