Man, she just watched Johnny's Royal Flush, and this show, in addition to all of its flaws, is anti-alligator.
Apparently, we're mindless beasts of naught but mouths and stomachs, ravenously eating all the cute little fish around. Also, apparently if you chop up an alligator, he or she will turn into alligator purses.
You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022
Hide the Iphone. For example, get a ladder and hide it on the roof (you'd be surprised how effective this is in my life. People in my house go months before looking on the roof). If you can get a screwdriver, screw out a lightbulb switch and hide it within the wires. If there are any heating vents, use those (you might want to get some string and tape and tape the string around it so you can pull it out with the string if it falls too far.)

Oh, in that case, hide it between the mattresses of a couch so you can claim you didn't know about it if she finds it. When you get to leave the house in a week, tell your cousin where he can find his ipod.
My parents have fixed Nova Computadorus so that I only get three intervals of one half-hour a day. If I want more time, I must ask for it. My sister has her own iphone, and my brother has his own computer, and my other sister has friends, but I have nothing else but my books and my pencils and my drawing supplies and coloring books and my spirograph and the local library so nevermind I'm good.
An hour and a half of computer time... a day? o_o How do you even stay alive and not die?
I have the hot sun and it's nurturing heat to warm me. I have my notebooks to make my own games in and to write stories in. I have flowers and books. I have my shovel and my buckets to grow flowers in. I have the birds. I have trees to climb and apples to eat.
I have a hammock to lay down in and read or do other things in. I have legoes. I have a bike. I have an Ipod with a broken screen that has loads of songs on it and nothing but songs. I can jump-rope, hula hoop, hop-scotch, play jacks, play with dolls.
I have sidewalk chalk. I have crayons and coloring books. I have paint, easel, and canvas. I have boxes, string, and bits of wire to make toys with in addition to the toys I have. I have sticks and stones and a sandbox at my grandmothers that I can walk to. I have clouds to find shapes in. I have freshly mowed grass to make into nests.
I have rocks to climb and a valley to explore. There are yards of other people with swingsets and trampolines. I have a piano to play on. I have bouncy balls and books to make a fort and I have socks to make sock puppets.
I have time. I have all I need and more. I have summer.

is beautiful
last time that happened, it was about shadows and keeping track of time.
This vacation has been a two-week-long guilt trip. I just want to be back in Tennessee.

I don't want more responsibility.
And, no, I don't want to stop being friends with Imipolex the way I had to stop being friends with Central Avenue and Anonus.
