Also, I've decided Cher Lloyd is not worth hating because With Ur Love is definitely one of those songs I had to listen to multiple times in order for it to feel right. Still kind of doesn't but I swear that's because she kinda forces feeling on the delivery in a lot of it. The song's what I would call a guilty pleasure but probably shouldn't because, as Joss Whedon says, that term is "not only idiotic but a bit offensive".
I took a listen to one of her other songs, Oath. It was a fairly simple ode to her BFF (the chorus actually kinda sounds more like she's saying "ode" than "oath" but I digress), not particularly standout in any way. I will say though, she sounds a LOT more like Avril Lavigne on that one, and a constant feeling of familiarity kept eating at me as I listened to it. People say Avril ripped Cher off on her latest single. I wouldn't be surprised.
This is what happens when you give me pop music at 3 am. Now, I feel strangely unsatisfied because I already listened to the solo and Mike Posner versions of With Ur Love but I haven't listened to the Certified Trippy Mane version tonight. I guess I have to rectify that now.

Yeah. I'm probably going to end up playing Rayman 3 on the 360 because of it, though I'm not fully sure how well that's going to go because I've heard bad things about emulating OG Xbox games on there. Still, the 360's controller is a vast improvement over both the original controller and the Controller S, so maybe it's a blessing in disguise. Maybe.
