in the Scottish game I am attempting to crush all of the British Isles under my Scots-Norse heel (I started out as the Petty Kingdom of Suthereyar, which Northernlion fans will recognize), in the Polish game I have formed a large Wendish Empire which spans most of Eastern Europe, and has holdings in parts of Italy and Spain (we also control the Papacy).
OK, technically Wends aren't Poles, but they are pretty closely related and who cares, you have a frigging Wendish Empire!

also "Wendish" is apparently also a catch-all term for all Western Slavs in addition to referring to a specific group of people, hence the existence of a formable Wendish Empire in-game that encompasses Poland, Lithuania, and a number of smaller countries. It's one of the hypothetical states. Carpathia (Hungary + Wallachia & Bohemia), Hispania (Spain hundreds of years early) and Britannia (the UK hundreds of years early) are other examples.
Well, yes, although "Wendish" generally referred to the Western Slavic peoples that lived in Germany specifically, although those kingdoms did tend to be aligned with the Poles and their very not-Slavic friends the Lithuanians, so it all works out in the end.
Some strange part of me kind of wishes that the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth had survived into the modern day, but I have no idea what the world would look like now were this the case.

It's pretty interesting, actually. It just hard to do the proofs. I understand all the little elements, but getting them to fit together is a fucking pain.
I used the term sanity, but I suppose it's the closest thing I have to describe the gooey warm center that gets worn out because of work and adult matters and sometimes when I eat too much pasta.

...Why did they change "pop some tags" to "rock some tags"? Is there something not kid-friendly about pulling the tags off clothes you just bought? "Rockin' tags" doesn't even make sense!
