You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022
You know what really bugs me about computers sold with Windows 8?
They've made it so the computer manufacturer's logo stays on screen until the Windows logon screen shows up.
I can't quite articulate why I dislike this—aside from PURITY—but it's very annoying.

i am glad i am not the only one irritated by this thing
on a related note, i found out why chkdsk seems to get stuck at 27% whenever i try to run it. turns out it's just microsoft being lame, it takes like 3 hours at 27% and then it finished in like 2 minutes
The article's supposed to be about how Apple is improving the way Siri responds to queries involving suicide but they continue to prod at the issue by deliberately working out ways to trick the system and then calling its responses "callous". It's a piece of software, damn it, it's not like Apple could program it to be perfect because they couldn't even if they tried!
Jeez. And to think AOL had the nerve to place HuffPost Tech at a higher priority than Engadget, who wouldn't have ever done this kind of slimy reporting when Josh was in charge. Gosh, they make me so mad. >_<

Hee hee, Phoebe is totally me
I can't tell you how many times I've repeated references without even knowing what they're from

Meysell Quintana said it best: "This means the Xbox One is slightly more viable but still way too f--kin' expensive."
Meanwhile, I'm here laughing at the faux pas that was E3 for them and I can't help but wonder if now they'll try to integrate these methods in different ways.
“These changes will impact some of the scenarios we previously announced for Xbox One. The sharing of games will work as it does today, you will simply share the disc. Downloaded titles cannot be shared or resold. Also, similar to today, playing disc based games will require that the disc be in the tray.”
Hmm. The removal of digital sharing is a bit disappointing. It would have been kind of cool if, you know, MS didn't force you to pay full price in order to share something.
But still, taking out the 24-hour requirement and generally accepting that they've been complete jerks is the best thing that Microsoft could possibly do at this point.
And I find it amusing (and kind of sad) that the first thread of comments on the article are people complaining about it.
My stepdad was quite annoyed at the about-face in policy, I heard him talking about it with his friends.
Anything that annoys Tony makes me happy.
Unrelatedly, any suggestions as to what I should stream tonight, guys? I'm thinking Super House of Dead Ninjas and Super Cratebox but I don't want to have my fingers fall off so I'm thinking about possibly showing off indie title Fly Guy if I can get it to record.
Disney, I like the character too, but you don't need to remind me of Captain Jack Sparrow's existence in every room of the Pirates of the Caribbean ride.

Also, dear parents of mine, I don't ask you to stick your arms in septic waste, so why should you ask me to stick my arms in water, which is worse.
Dear my arms, go away go away go away I hate you you are wet GET IT OFF GET IT OFF why am I not dry yet I hate being wet.
Water's not right if it doesn't have bugs and moss and logs and frogs and cattails and all those plants in it.
So Mikeysoft acknowledged that they screwed up and have recanted on most of the Xbox One's invasive and/or poorly planned out policies.

Assassin poems, Poems that shoot
guns. Poems that wrestle cops into alleys
and take their weapons leaving them dead
Enjoyable, considering that I read most of it in depression. Very Hobbit-like, with touches of Miyazaki and Pratchett here and there.

I am at McDonald's and filling out college stuff.
how is y'all.
now our armies will be unstoppable.I had to submit my course selection form four times before they'd take it. LCCC's site is damn weird.
Chillin' is good. So long as it is done in a manner similar to that of a villain.
Trying to understand discrete math and failing horribly.
Spelled that way
what is discrete math?
also, I am back from McD's and feel rather sick.
I have done Epcot, Hollywood Studios, and Magic Kingdom so far.
The Jungle Cruise and Mickey's Philharmagic Orchestra are pretty cool though. I like the Tiki Room too.
