Stories have been told on the stone walls of a cave, you don't need inflated pixels to tell a good story.
I never said that. Just that inflated pixels can tell different kinds of stories.
And the number of FPS Shooters that have you killing things right in front of you are indications of "Different" stories?
Are you insinuating that every game in existence is an FPS where you mindlessly kill everything?
I'm insinuating that a majority of the games that utilize high-end stellar future space-tech graphics and pixels seems to be "Kill stuff, FPS Shooter Style"
every game in existence is an FPS where you mindlessly kill everything
(*whips out machine gun, mows down some octoroks, drops gun, loads rocket launcher, asplodes mr. resetti, gibs are everywhere, has sex with zelda, gets onto my motorbike and rides off into the distance while datsik plays in the background*)
This thing's interface is more aesthetically pleasing, but I can't figure it out at all. I don't care what the interface looks like if the learning curve is near vertical.
To each their own, I suppose. I admit, OS X is strange because they've kind of stayed on their own wavelength and the UI hews closer to Linux-- er, Ubuntu, and classic Mac OS than it does Windows, so making the switch can be hard.
I personally didn't skip a beat when I jumped over though. I actually think I may prefer the way OS X and Ubuntu do things nowadays, probably because I've gotten accustomed to them, know their quirks, etc.
There is literally no way for me to access files on this computer.
I don't claim to know anything about the Apple UI, or even the UI for just MacBooks, but this one is awful.
Alright Kex. On one of the sides of the screen (usually the bottom) there's a row/column of icons for applications. You may have to move your mouse around a bit to find it, but don't worry, it's there. This is the Dock. It lets you get to all the important apps on the Mac.
See that blue face smiling at you in the bottom left corner (or top) of the Dock? He's the Finder. He should help you get to everything on the computer. The actual UI of the Finder's pretty similar to Windows Explorer but the main difference is the lack of a bar saying where inside the computer you are up top. If you don't know where you are, though, just right/Option-click the name of the folder up top, it should show you your directory path.
Been using Macs since I was like 3, never had any trouble with the UI

Anyway, Yarrun, what are your thoughts on Sony possibly doing an IPO of its movie, TV, and music businesses
-shrugs-
I'm not much of a stocks man, to be honest. I just wanted to buy stocks in Sony because Microsoft promised to trip over its own feet after the XBone promo.

My husband and I enjoy the finest champagne and caviar whenever we so choose. We are beautiful people and we have parties with people you can't even lick their boots. YOU ARE DISGUSTING PIG PEOPLE, MADE FROM THE SLIME OF YOUR OWN HATRED AT THE WORLD FOR MAKING Y OU DISGUSTING PEOPLE. STAY IN THE BASEMENT WHERE YOU BELONG, REDSHITTORS, YOU ARE LOSERS.
You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022

More people have said that and been killed than there are thorium decay products.
I found his stuff around the same time that I got a Wii (so, 2008 or 2009). I thought he was cool at the time; it didn't click with me that he was a loli-lover, and such people are the scum of the earth.
I compare lolicon to guro: an outlet for people who would otherwise be more tempted to do bad things.
Less limitations, though. Something like Bioshock couldn't be done in the nineties.
And you know what? Sometimes cinematic games are good.
I haven't played it, but I assume its spiritual predecessor, System Shock 2, was similar enough. Also Bioshock could easily be done in the 1990s, just with a bit lower production values.
And in a few months or years, my dash is going to be blown up with KH3 stuff. Largely because of Earthlight. And I will loathe it because it reminds me of how I'll never get back into the KH fandom.

They may be closer to the modern FPS genre than we thought
(But Yarrun, cave paintings were largely didactic or religious!)
(That only reinforces my point!)

Justice, I'm taking your advice. The next time someone gives me sass I'm going to gloat to them about caviar and champagne and it will be glorious.

Got another exam today. I have done eight, and have six (including this one) left.
It would've been taken without the "the" at the beginning of the URL but without that "the" it's not a nickname anymore, it's just two random words.
