  Oh man, this is great. It turns out my Blu-Ray player runs Linux and uses libav (i.e. ffmpeg) for decoding at least some things (I don't know if they use it for Blu-Ray video).

  Well, normally to kill Bowser you can just have him fall in a pit, SMB3 style. That's the usual method.

  Out of all the bands that I listen to, Supertramp seems to be the most stringent about copyright infringement. There was a long time when I couldn't find their original songs anywhere on youtube.

  Wait... does that mean you can recompile it to support more things? ( that is if you can compile it without all the codecs to begin with.. which I'm uncertain of.. (ohgodimnotgoodwithcomputerspleasehelp.jpeg))

  Nah, I'm not going to tinker with it, I just think it's cool that it's running Linux and not, say, VxWorks or such. That said, I should drop by Sony's GPL page and get the Linux sources, since I'm curious as to what SOC they're using.
