Stream will be going live shortly for sound tests and question-answering and junk, so if you want to hop in early you can do so at Twitch.tv/mojavemusic. Probably a decent idea if you're not really into Touhou and may not know what it's all about.
You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022
someday we're gonna look back on that bizarre period when Centie couldn't get her meds refilled due to insurance BS and she ended up going off on her parents, two security guards, and Lazuli over the course of like a week

i guess what i'm saying is
i'm sorry if i upset anyone
well I'm not going to lie that was pretty irritating, but, all is forgiven.
anyway, I've got a show to do, so I'll catch y'all either on Twitch or later.

Also, for some reason I'm imagining my "refund" as a certificate that says "This certificate entitles the bearer to ONE CHILDHOOD. Non-transferable. Expires 07-31-2013."
I'm not sure who I'd present the certificate to, though...

It must be a terrible thing to feel a boredom so acute it becomes torture.
You want to know what a really terrible thing is.
Infanticide.
I've always thought that infanticide is not as bad as than killing an older person. Because like an older person is known by more people, so more people will be sad.

But by the same token, ending the life of someone that hasn't had a chance to really experience life and, more importantly, cannot defend themselves is pretty unbelievably reprehensible.

While there is definitely something to be said about the murder of someone who had so much life ahead of him,

yeah that's terrible too, but it's terrible in a different way

And you're one using terminology such as "Not as bad".
When in truth, it's both terrible and this entire topic of trying to measure which kind of death is "worse" cheapens the entire concept.
like what if you were stuck in some sort of weird hypothetical situation where you had to chose between killing two people? Then it would be important to know which one.

I would just offer myself, to be honest...
i was thinking more something along the lines of the situation in the trolley problem or something similar...

Fair enough.
But I am terrible at those sort of dilemmas. The idea of placing a priority on one person over another is deeply distressing to me.
Hypothetical situations are ones devoid of context, they're mostly designed to prove a point, and when it comes to a situation of "Who shall live and who shall die", to frame it in a meaningless hypothetical void just portrays ignorance of the significance of life.

That's a little harsh, but I do agree that hypotheticals ultimately strip things like this of value.

Well, if you do not like my purely abstract example, what about, say, a doctor performing triage?

sometimes I find myself doing a mental Raocow commentary whilst playing the Marios
this tune makes me feel a little better
Also, they built science.

the fact that i am not currently in possession of this plate of chilli cheese fries.
Assassin poems, Poems that shoot
guns. Poems that wrestle cops into alleys
and take their weapons leaving them dead
There were arguments on both sides, but I think that most people would subconsciously choose the former.
