I'm reading about ESR (again), and while his politics are annoying and he's said some really dumb things on his blog, the thing that gets me the most is that he ignored what is probably the first law of software development: The software is never done, or: There is always one more bug. Putting forth some bullshit about "maintenance mode" is just saying that you're not interested in maintaining the program and should hand it off to someone else. It's not something any commercial developer would do for software that needs to work.
You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022
You know, there was a time that I didn't understand the concept of patience.
"Just waiting" hardly seems like the kind of thing that could accomplish anything, realistically speaking. People don't display patience when they're protesting in the streets, they don't display patience when they try to hurry production. Or get workers to go faster.
To me, back then, patience seemed like the kind of game mechanic, wherein it's a strategy game and you used up all your "moves" for the turn.

I am a person, with a mind, and yet my intelligence often cheapens the visceral feelings I could produce within myself, as my web of understanding and reasoning catches the problems I have and presents them reasonably and two-sided.
I really do work against myself it seems, but greater understanding and clarity is better than merely feeling better for a little bit.
I also take issue of people making fun of stupid people, not fun with them, but at them, and in a deliberate and hurtful manner. If you want me to Godwin my own statement, I take issue with it mostly because the perpetrator is assumed to be making these jokes from a higher intellectual position, Like the nazis who were self-proclaimed to be a "better race" most speculative fiction paints superiority in a position of ultra-moralism, (think of the amount of fiction that paints "Future Aliens as gods" sort of deal) and this is not without it's justification.
So yes, I'm saying I disbelieve theory of Nazis as the "Master" race because of their observable intellectual and moral level.

Done any breakdancing while juggling glass drums lately?
Also i am downloading a slam-death cover of Gangnam Style
it promises to be entertaining.
It was more deathcore than slam though
