I dunno, Idler. But I'm an outsider, and what Homestuck looks like to me is a pile of crap. I don't care about it, I find it annoying and I wish people would just shut up about it.
Yeah, I know, complain complain complain, sorry. It's just all the annoying things about Japanese anime and video games rolled into one. A bunch of moe-pile characters, all of them trolls of course, being all cute and shit or something, plus Japanese humor which isn't funny. Oh, and the music is apparently good, from what I've heard? I don't much care about that either.
Four kids play a game that manipulates the physical world and transports them to distant worlds while the Earth is destroyed. The game and how they play it is responsible for destroying the world, and creating both them and their genetic parents, and placing them in their proper point in the timeline via time travel. There is another universe that contains aliens that they keep in contact with who have created their universe by playing the game through to the end. Some shit goes wrong with the game, forcing them all to do some weird shit and create a parallel universe where the kids' parents are their children and vice versa, which is something the alien universe had already done. Right now we're watching the children who were the parents in the original universe and seeing them prepare to start their instance of the game.

OK, no, it was copypasta from a post about Touhou, hence the confusing it for a moe anime. It wasn't a dig at people who don't like Homestuck, it was more to wind up anyone who did.
