Don't get me wrong, the overwhelming law enforcement response in Watertown is completely justified. We're talking about an armed man who likely has explosives loose in a densely populated area and has shown he has no qualms about killing. You can't take chances with that shit.
But saying that this unique response to a unique incident should become a part of standard training is, well, somewhat worrying. Is this kind of thing going to become a regular occurrence?
