    ok
  • Why are there One Direction bloggers? To say nothing of the band's quality, what is there even to blog about?

Why blog about Homestuck, or Madoka Magica, or Avatar: The Last Airbender, or Touhou, or Hetalia, or Harry Potter? :D

They're good, and there's actually room to discuss them.

The comments underneath every Aesop Rock video tell a different story.

I dislike Axis Powers Hetalia because of the way it presents history; and really, a lot of it I find unappealing and offensive.  Touhou I know nothing about other than that bullets in that game make pretty patterns.  Harry Potter is childhood; and nothing more needs be said (OMG Hagrid is so great!), I know nothing of Madoka Magica; and Avatar The Last Airbender is one of my favorite television shows.

I mean, which Napoleon Motorcycle picture is better?
  • Man, why aren't there any Lonely Island blogs.
  • Hetalia doesn't interest me because I'm not a big shipper; Touhou was all-encompassing, but the love faded away after a while and I don't know why; Harry Potter wasn't allowed by my parents at first; when they decided that I was old enough to determine my own media, I still didn't feel like actually reading the books. I ended up learning everything about them from the internet; Madoka's fine but emotionally dangerous, as is ATLA.
  • “I'm surprised. Those clothes… but, aren't you…?”

    Friday is watching Peirot.

He's another one of those detectives you're better off no knowing, because if you hung out long enough with him, you'd end up as a murder investigation.

I'd rather be friends with Sherlock Holmes. At least he usually investigated crimes that have already happened instead going to his local chippery to find the fry cook face down in a vat of boiling oil.

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone was the first book I ever read without pictures.

    Do you mean Poirot?

Because Hercule Poirot is a detective I personally prefer to Sherlock Holmes.

Mad Pierrot is a better Peirot.
  • I'm saying that Madoka causes feels (as does ATLA, to a lesser extent), and watching Madoka before driving or operating heavy machinery could result in bad things happening.
  • I don't remember the first thing I've ever read w/o pictures. Knowing me at that age, it was probably a Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew novel. The two of those series take up an entire shelf of my bookcase.

Of course, rather than being friends, you'd likely be acquaintances. Alternatively, you would spend most the time insulting each other.

I remember that one episode where Prince Zuko accidentally burned Toph's feet; giving her a second or third degree burn on each foot.  She was completely blind, and her whole world was just gone.  And then Combustion Man attacked right after Zuko had convinced Aang that his burning of Toph was just a mistake and everybody thought Zuko had betrayed them.

Sure, it all ended up okay, but for a few minutes there, I thought something absolutely terrible had happened to Toph; and I kind of was thinking that Katara would shove Zuko over the edge of a cliff or something.
  • I tried to look at The Amazing Atheist's videos with an open mind, but I quickly realized I'm not a fan of self righteous obnoxious douchebags.

    Good.

Finally, someone who agrees with me despising TJ's general brand of anti-religious mean-spirited humor.

That is, unless you're saying that you agree with him and are complaining about the people he hates.

No one who says that, ever, is worth listening to about anything. :)

Actually, I don't believe in this absolute, I am so heartlessly pragmatic as to to say that even his words can hold some* value, if not for it's intended message, then as a tool to help get other messages across. clarification some* in this case meaning more than absolute 0.

but I'm not so heartless as to say that just because there's some* value to be found, means that time, energy, and effort should be spared to try and discover it.

And he meant it sincerely, too.

This is the same guy who said that Jake Lloyd should become a drug addict and die for being in The Phantom Menace; a movie that he (TJ) claimed was worse than the death of his father.

I don't remember Yagrum.  I'm sorry you had to put up with him, Odradek.
  • I don't understand all the visceral hatred towards the Prequel Trilogy. Simply disliking them is one thing, but people have gone way overboard. Even among top critics the reaction wasn't overwhelmingly negative.

  • "Go to bed"

    "I don't wanna"

    "But you're tired"

    "I'm always tired!"

"Not physically tired, now go to sleep, you need rest, and you're going to get one or another (Either run out of fuel or voluntarily sleep)"

"So it shouldn't matter than, Nyah~!"

"Yes it does, you're going to rest either way, but the amount of rest you really get will be different depending on whether or not it's your choice"

"Also because it'd mess up my time-schedule right?"

"Who cares about that, It's not like you're doing anything important"

"So then I shouldn't sleep! stupid imaginary voice, no one cares about you anyways!"

So anyways, I think I might be sleepy.

The prequel trilogy to what, unless we're talking about Frodo Baggins and his amazing Beatbox abilities, then i can't even begin to imagine what you're talking about, unless you're talking about Starwars, in which case I actually do have an answer for this particular query.

  • How about Slendermen, can we talk about him.

I think he was a Megaman robotmaster wasn't he?

    Incorrect

  • Speaking of Monarchies, or rather how language has evolved in the past few years,

I've hear the term princess more times than I can accurately define the term, or even describe the term as it applies to a modern day culture.

  • i listened to like a minute of Jai Paul's album
