  • I've learned to tolerate drama...except on the boat

I swear I've had a dream before that I saw these posts.

Hey, I have deja vu dreams too!

Also I'm thinking about my new standardized Fox O&O opens that actually play off of the 20th Century Fox logo

Merlon's moonbase which is indeed on a moon, which used to be Grodus's moonbase

I can't remember if Hermione was in 30 Hs

Guess she wasn't metal enough if she wasn't

You know what I wish existed? A temporary traffic control game.

Like, you get some scenario--short-term construction, long-term construction, a water main break, firefighters blocking off half a road--and you have to make decisions like detours and lane closures and stuff. The trick is to find a balance of safety (for workers and motorists alike) and efficiency.

I don't remember Hermione being in 30 Hs.

Come to think of it I don't think there were any women besides the headless women making godless love to dragons made out of motorcycles. But it was still reading

You know there's something kind of poignant about the headless women making godless love to dragons made out of motorcycles

The dragons made out of motorcycles represent machismo and the male sex drive, and the womens' headlessness reflects that they are perceived as having no merit beyond sex appeal.
  • Touch the cow. Do it now.
    That sounds oddly plausible
  • Touch the cow. Do it now.
    But what about the godlessness?
  • 5 Victor Hugo, rolling in his grave

Anyone’s first reaction to this game, disregarding the game itself, is
likely “why does this exist.” Arm Joe a 2D-based tournament fighter
based on the classic French novel, ‘Les Miserables’ (derived from its
Japanese title “Ah, Mujou”, but you probably already knew that), albeit
with some amusing…interpretations. Staples such as Jean Valjean,
Colette, Marius, and Javert are out in full force, as well as the likes
of an embodiment of Judgement, an unrelated horse doodle named Ponpon, a
French policeman, and – in true Marvel vs. Capcom fashion – Jean’s
    metal doppelganger, Robo-Jean.
    no robo-javert?

...that said lovemaking is for pleasure and not reproduction?
  • More people have said that and been killed than there are thorium decay products.
    no robo-javert?
    Did Eggman ever need a Robo-Eggman? :p
  • Sir, are you implying that Les Miserables are directly comparable to Sonic?

Then who would be Tails Doll then? Huh? Answer that with your fancy analogies.
  • I've learned to tolerate drama...except on the boat
Tails Doll is a stupid meme and always was
  • Touch the cow. Do it now.
I never got what was supposed to be so horrible about the Tails Doll.

The Sonic fanbase finds it creepy, and as such they have hijacked it and the perfectly good "Can You Feel The Sunshine" into some kind of Bloody Mary-esque bullshit and decided that the Tails Doll is the Sonic equivalent of the Weeping Angels from Doctor Who

Meanwhile, the rest of the world finds the Sonic fanbase creepy

Sonic is the epitome of French literature and Victor Hugo is no match.

I've got my hair in a ponytail

    Yay ponytails!

The ponytail is a great, utilitarian hairstyle enjoyed by people everywhere. I use it myself at times. :)

I liked Vanessa shield better, had better vocals and put more effort into her pitch.

But then again, Lindsey shortsword certainly knew how to sell it to an audience.

Well, like...I don't have an impact on anything bigger than myself. There's nobody out there going "I've never met Alice Lastname, but I've seen what she does and she's pretty cool."
  • You help mod this place with AU, add all the hours of posts and hours of people reading posts here and you've got a nice chunk of people who find significance with this place. something you actually help with.

Heck, maybe I should private-message AU huh, ask what kind of impact you've had on his life.

  • That seems a little bit harsher than I wanted, but I traded in all my care-circuits for cynical witty banter hardware in the 2.0 upgrade.

So even if I wanted to point out just how many people actually kind of use this place and like it, I must do so in a way that follows my programming.

Also, you know, that little thing with AU that you have, but I won't bring that up.

    I guess you're right.

I just tend to find myself wishing I had some level of fame and recognition. >_<

I don't blame you for feeling that way actually, I too have felt remorse that the level of impact I have is so small as to be a circle.

But then my intelligence belittled my ego with the truth.

And that is, most human beings can only hope to have relevance in a circle. you look at history, it's certainly filled with events and names of people who had impacted the world, but most people died in obscurity. the level of impact they had being confined to a family or community.

Besides, fame and recognition isn't as glorious as tends to be held as.
  • “I'm surprised. Those clothes… but, aren't you…?”
Pills will make you throw up in new and possibly exciting ways.
Late to the party with this one but...

    Spoiler:
My family has a history of migraines on both sides, but my mom gets them especially bad. She has mentioned that on more than one occasion she has actually vomited neon blue due to the type of bile released during said migraines.

Given that that that was just a straight-up body thing, I can only imagine what external chemicals could do to you. So I'm really, really sorry, is what I'm saying.

"Everyone will be famous to fifteen people," quoth Momus. I am quite inclined to believe him.
  • That's quite a generous number, actually.

    What optimism it is.
  • “I'm surprised. Those clothes… but, aren't you…?”
It's a twist on an old Warhol quote.

Yes, you probably knew that, but I won't except literalism in my gnomic declarations!

You would be a terrifying YouTube pundit.

I mean that in a positive way.

    Those are surprisingly fun.

I wonder: will I ever not suck enough at piano to play this?

  • More people have said that and been killed than there are thorium decay products.
omg. I realized: *that* is how real pianists memorize all these notes: they don't. They learn how to *read* an actual *staff,* something I have neglected. >_>
