Sleep is an analogy for dying because my mom taught me how to dye cloths with 2 pencils, a wikipedia page, and 30 galleons of industrial strength fluoride.
Remember back in the 50s when they'd record like Elvis singing YOU AIN'T NOTHIN BUT A HOUND DOG and then they'd turn the record over and reverse it and it was all NYERP NYERP NYERP NYERP NYERP and people were all like, "That is actually the voice of Satan coming from that song."
Ponderances: Why does Molex charge $300 for a crimp tool that you can get from another manufacturer on Amazon for $30? The mind boggles.
And it's not like the Molex tool is much better, quality-wise, or so they say: The manual insists that the hand tool is not for production use. I get the feeling this is more because they want you to buy the $4000 machine tool to do the crimping on big projects. :P
I got handed an anti-abortion thingy by some protesters outside my school today.
I threw it out because seeing the phrase "Blacks Rallying Against ABORTION" immediately tipped me off to the content and as such probably didn't line up with my own views, but now that I think about it my English teacher was interested in using some of their material as examples of persuasive... persuasivity.
Don't think I'll bother fishing it out though, my parents may think I've gone cuckoo.
More people have said that and been killed than there are thorium decay products.
1. Abortion (circle one):
(A) all life is sacred; everything must be kept alive as long as possible unless it is to be used for corporate purposes or has been convicted of a crime, even if said thing exists in a state of perpetual agony
(B) women have the right to do with their bodies as they please, even if part of their body is a potential new human

Like, some people in this world think internet bans are for when someone likes a website you don't like, or when they say something that dares to suggest you might have made a mistake, or when they tell someone that the things they are saying are bad.

I think I remember reading somewhere that Nue's UFOs were sooooo awful that there was an official patch to make them less frustrating? But I am playing the latest version...
Wow, you can't play video discs at all in Windows 8 unless you either fuss about with VLC, or pay enough for fucking PowerDVD to have bought a real DVD player. :P
Unfuckingbelievable. I think it may actually be easier to play DVDs and BDs in Linux, and that's saying something.

Why do people refer to SherclopPones as one person? I always got the impression that Jenny has just as much input on the series as Griffin does.

Question: What would you guys consider the "canonical" source for street names?
I have a map here that labels a certain street as "Demorest Avenue", when the signs along the street label it as "Demorest Road". Normally I'd assume that's just a mistake in the map...but it's the official map produced by the county engineer's office. So which name is the "real" one?
The signs, I'd say. It's pretty easy to misprint a map, not so easy to misprint an entire sign. (Also the signs would make it less confusing for postmen. :|)

Good point. One misprinted sign I could dismiss as carelessness (there's one such sign in my neighborhood, lol), but when it's done consistently it's probably deliberate.
Oddly enough, I pulled out my official 1987 county map and it also lists "Demorest Ave", so the error is a very long-standing one.
