Thinking about my Time Bus thing makes me want to liveblog an episode of The Magic School Bus.

See you later Imi.
For some reason the number of people who will drive through a railroad crossing when the lights are on but before the gates go down always bothered me. I can see their thinking--obviously it's gonna be timed such that the gates are down before the train comes--but...still.
I maybe it's because, until 10 years or so ago, a lot of the crossings around here had lights but no gates.

Confession: as a kid, before my road obsession was in full swing, I was obsessed with railroad crossings.

I actually like The Black Keys a fair bit. They were one of the first post-1990s bands I really liked, however, so I could just biased towards them in gratitude for helping me out of my musical bubble.
I really like the berlin kinda vibes he had going on with A Mutual Antipathy, but since then he kinda slipped into something a bit more melodically focused/poppy that's kinda hit-and-miss for me
which isn't to say that i'm against that sorta thing, and he does have a gift for nice melodies, but that style doesn't quite fit him as well as his old one IMO.
Kinda the online center of the electronic music community, big tastemakers, they're generally reasonable and have great reviews, but have sometimes noticeable biases against some kinds of music (trance, big thumpy d'n'b and dubstep, electro house (although IIRC they gave Boys Noize's Oi Oi Oi a 5/5, which was pleasantly surprising), and more poppy music in general)

Well she has some decent pop songs I think. Hasn't done much lately.
Also this band.
Fairer to call him legendary, The Rza is the founder of the Wu-Tang Clan after all.
Of course he's kinda gone off the deep end in recent years but it's something at least.
>Enter The Dubstep
stop doing what you're doing
so I just realized that several God is an Astronaut songs have a strong enough percussive section that they could be used as a breakbeat.
