I'm actually a little bit younger than most of you seem to be. In terms of Nintendo consoles, my "childhood video game nostalgia period" would have been inbetween that of the Game Boy Color/N64 and the Game Boy Advance/GameCube. I mostly played on portable consoles, though.

I liked it, but it made me feel kind of weird. Because on the one hand, it's a good game and better off for not allowing you to explore which would bugger up the gameplay style and in any case fans had been complaining about the regular 3D titles for years by that point. On the other hand, I like exploring, dammit!

Sometimes I wish the franchise would kind of go back to the earlier 3D type of gameplay, at least for Sonic (sometimes I've wondered if leaving out the rails would be a good idea, but they've been in the franchise for so long now that players are probably used to them now.).

Indoor skydiving, for my friend's birthday. What's weird was that I didn't feel like I was falling unless I was going up; I felt just like I do when I'm standing around, but in the air.
Also cut my chin cause I was bad at it at first, but hey. I signed a waiver.

I don't know about an enclosed mall, but there's a strip mall around here with a Taco Bell in its parking lot. I actually bought tacos there not too long ago.

^ N64 was the first console my brother and I actually owned between us. Before that I had to content myself with playing around friends' houses.
