^^ The White Album is tied with (or a close second to) Magical Mystery Tour as my favourite Beatles release, purely on the basis of how gleefully unhinged it is.
I'm a Rubber Soul and Revolver man myself, but parts of The White Album are pretty amazing because of that unhinged factor you mention. I'm also partial to the Abbey Road Side 2 medley for that same reason.
More people have said that and been killed than there are thorium decay products.
I wonder if such a large thing would be able to fly, and also what chemical process would produce fire when it breathes. Those are really neat illustrations though! :D
People have actually done some chemical analyses on fire-breath. Apparently it is possible.
I can't remember where, though. All I remember is that Phosphorous was considered to be one of the likely essential chemicals.
Consider the density of the musculature and whether the bones are hollow. Some of those Pteranadon-Pterodactyl things and some birds could get pretty darn big; so it depends on the makeup of the muscles and bone; but perhaps flight could be possible. There are certainly bigger extinct birds and reptiles that flew under their own power.

You know, The White album might be my least favorite Beatles album. It's just too inconsistent as an album. For every song as good as "Back in the USSR", "Wild Honey Pie" or "Blackbird", there's a song as bad as "Don't pass me by", "Piggies" or just plain forgettable songs like "Savoy Truffle".
Though I will agree that Magical Mystery tour is a great album. My personal favorite is a tie between Sgt Peppers and Abbey Road.

I think that's the hardest part of creating biology for dragons: dealing with that third set of limbs in a realistic manner.

^ Oh yeah, I guess wings do count as limbs.
