Omnes is a good font but AT&T's heavy use of it leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

I've not watched many sign-offs all the way through, but I wonder if that National Anthem slideshow was a standardized thing.

Ending it with the moon landing was cool...the moon landing is, to me, less America triumphing over the Soviets and more of a general human triumph...is that bad?

Yeah, the "Flag Evolution" National Anthem film was a standard clip. It was produced by a graphics arts house in NYC in the early 1970s, and a lot of stations used it.
