Bobby agrees with my opinion
I feel validated
Also I don't understand everyone's obsession with Kankri, he's amusing but he's a very one-note character and seems more like comic relief than anything else

Sometimes I want a cane.
I haven't gotten one, though, because I worry it would be offensive to my mother, who actually needs one.

Proof that America is better than everyone else: Our electrical outlets look like little faces:
More people have said that and been killed than there are thorium decay products.
I had this lovely conversation last night, and I learned to kind of re-think the way we generalize stuff. Of course, every subculture/movement will have people who take it the wrong way, but I think we should appreciate the overall movement of social justice. :D "sjw" means "social justice warrior," yes? Social justice is a fight! Say it with a smile!

I dunno. I hate a lot of things that are deeply ingrained in American society (like our whole gun culture), but the general statement "I hate America" strikes me as throwing the baby out with the bathwater. There are a lot of Americans who are good people, after all.

Also, for some reason I'm thinking of one of the Dr. Ashen videos in which his gadget-of-the-week came packaged with an AC adapter with a North American plug. His stated reason for why the plug was useless to him wasn't that the plug was the wrong shape (though it was, of course), but that it only had 2 prongs, while UK outlets have slots for three prongs.
I get that it was supposed to be funny, but that always struck me as nonsensical. Obviously a plug with only two prongs can be inserted into a socket made for three prongs. That's how, like, 90% of stuff in the US plugs in.

@AU: If it helps, I view a lot of human culture with disdain.

#otherkin can be fun to peruse, on occasion, provided you can look past the dozens of people who think "lol otherkin is bullshit" is the epitome of witty humor in and of itself

The Last Parking Lot in America -- Lo-fi experimental thing, possibly with vocals. Current tracks all have guitar samples. Possibly under the name King K'iud.
The 80s, The 90s, and Now -- tape of pop song flips, probably would all be pretty short
tape of J-Pop flips
Dreamtime America -- House-ish album
tape of weird IDM-ey stuff under the name Bankerhead ft. The Black Tower
man, some people are so obsessively negative about psychadelia that it's honestly disconcerting.
who are these people you mention
it's like
you must know so many people with no taste
I sometimes lurk music forums.
Just the sheer amount of hate people like Sun Araw attract is strange.
Like I don't mean "I don't like this" stuff, I mean like "I don't like this and it sucks and it's stupid and if you like it you're stupid and you suck and you're probably fat" stuff.
no but I really don't lurk any in particular but sometimes I'll come across singular threads and be like "oh hey I'll read this" and I usually regret it.
There is a song called "SOPA" on Control System, named for the Stop Online Piracy Act; Ab-Soul includes a pointed lyric about Trayvon Martin in his verse. But the beat, which shudders and lurches like a dying car, will make you scrunch your face and jerk your limbs like you are suffering neurological crisis. Schoolboy Q is on the song, too, and he would like you to know that he fucked your girl.

Having said which, i nonetheless felt that Kankri in the comic itself was more interesting than how he generally gets portrayed in fanart.
what have i becoooooooooooome
this is never a good idea
WE WON! WE WON! WE WON!
that is pretty rad.
I have like five tapes I'm one or two tracks into each that I'm working on.
I'm so scattershot.
I have a tape recorder.
I should actually record an album of mine to cassette.
just for the sake of doing so.
random tapes I might make, a list:
