Anonus isn't known for his subtlety.
I like that about him, though. He's very honest and very straightforward and I can understand him really well. When he tells me something, I can trust that he means what he says, instead of having to try and read between the lines, like I do (poorly) with most other people.

Weird thought: There will be a point, (hopefully) within my lifetime, when we'll have to refer to the 1950s as the 1950s instead of just "the '50s".
Remember back in the 50s when they'd record like Elvis singing YOU AIN'T NOTHIN BUT A HOUND DOG and then they'd turn the record over and reverse it and it was all NYERP NYERP NYERP NYERP NYERP and people were all like, "That is actually the voice of Satan coming from that song."
^ Yeah, i was just thinking about how odd that sounds nowadays. And we have the Twenties coming up in less than a decade.
Kinda weird when you think how, given enough time, the decades cease to be distinguishable. And not that much time, either, like, how many people alive today could tell the 1860s and 1870s apart? Strikes me as interesting.

Then again, 1900s in general brought about a lot of changes. can you imagine what'll be written in the history books... or the history webpage wherein students visit while studying history.

I just awokened from a strange dream.
What actually took place was debatable, but I know I had to drive the the house of a man who looked like Andrew Hussie but was supposed to be my cousin. He had some really cute cats and as part of his job he apparently dressed up as a "for sale" sign to promote open houses.
We all lived in a city that would have been perfect as the setting of a GTA-style game, with cop cars coming up and down the streets, always parking randomly and blocking off lanes, and road work zones plopped in the middle with little to no advance warning. It did indeed feel like something out of a video game.
If this post seems somewhat incoherent, well, so do my thoughts.
I also need breakbeats. Almost all of my recent songs have been stock percussion. Nothing wrong with that in my genre, but still, I'd like to mix it up a little.
ultimately what one needs is not more plugins but to achieve mastery of a few
i mean really you just need something that can do subtractive synthesis, and some good fx plugins and that'll cover everything you need to make any sound you want a good 70% of the time.
I have like four delay plugins and I make pretty generous use of all of them, so idk.
and I don't know how to synthesizer. Unless we're talking about Sytrus presets. But I don't use those often because I am not Pharrell and FL Studio is not a Casio keyboard.
really what I should be doing is learning how to drum program better.

Is it bad that "Men at Work" makes me think of traffic signs before I think of the band?
You know, even as a kid, I remember noticing an interesting sorta shift in road construction signs. Gendered language like "MEN WORKING" and "FLAGMAN AHEAD" gave way to neutral language like "WORKERS" and " "FLAGGER AHEAD", which in turn gave way to pictograms.
The current "workers" sign amuses me, because it not only portrays a worker of indeterminate gender, but ze's performing a task of indeterminate nature:

The 90s, the decade where butts first started to rise to prominence.
and Sytrus is pretty handy, it's pretty much exactly like FM8 (but it's more beginner friendly and doesn't sound as good)
I'm sure it is, but I have no idea how to manipulate the parameters and still know what I'm doing. I've managed to eek a few neat sounds out of it just by screwing with the presets (the synth on "Lightning Gun" is a take on the Greasy 2 preset) but that's about all.

Decades from now, students will study Tumblr, wonder "What is the DEAL with BUTTS?!" and trace history back to this song.
Actully, Tumblr will probably just be another step on their historic journey. The chapter will be called "Where Butt waxing stations came from and why it's not trendy to wear ass-less chaps."

Speaking of Tumblr, before I fell asleep I finished the first part of Openbound.
I feel weird for taking a liking to Meenah, since she's kind of an asshole and I'm not quite sure I understand what it is I like about her.

Granted, I guess if I had blood that literally made me royalty and I knew in another universe I became the batterwitch, I'd pretty much act the same way.
Also, I feel bad for Calliope. I know she's meant as a parody of the fandom, but the whole hiding your appearance from people online because you're ashamed of it and desperately wishing you were something else is somewhat relatable for me, if you know what I mean.

why am i letting myself say words
i'm probably seeing parallels that don't actually make sense when exposed to any kind of scrutiny and making myself look like an overemotional idiot in the process
i wish just once i could talk at length about something i like without worrying at every thing i have to say about it is stupid

Well, the Ice King did ask what was wrong with him. The Cosmic Owl was just being uncharacteristically blunt.
So I became the strongest!

second guy is good but first guy is basically me if I decided to do horrorcore for some reason
someone decided to be a rapper and willingly christened themselves "Lols".
I am done with everything.
That was the first "Lol" I was introduced to. Long before the internet.
I need more plugins.
Well, I always need more plugins, but yeah.

not sure if I want to make a tape of 80s pop flips or J-Pop flips.
I have too many ideas.

Maybe I'm biased due to having seen Merchant's work before Portal 2 in The Ricky Gervais Show, but I think he was a better fit for Wheatley.

I am going to write a pompous, pitchforkey review for my own album and credit it to "Mark".
spoiler: there is no Mark.
what is Openbound.
it took me four tries to spell "what" correctly in this post.
