I was trying to get some put on a sub at Subway an I blanked on the name, so I just called it "spaghetti sauce", but the girl behind the counter decided to be bitchy and insist I call it by the right name first.
This was a terrible Subway...I had asked another employee about the selection of bread and she was all "dear god, you don't know what bread we have?" and pulled out some cards with the bread types listed on them. She then got mad when I read said cards, since they were for employees only and she was meant to read them aloud, not let me view them.
Anyway, I ended up rambling about a scene from the A Series of Unfortunate Events books in which they try to order Subway--apparently in dream world, product placement was added after the movie was released--but not before nearly accepting a giant teddy bear that was intended for another customer. Said customer looked vaguely like Dave Chappelle and was less than pleased.

Also, the name "Sir Arthur Conan Doyle" was repeated throughout the dream, despite having no apparent relevance to anything.

Meulin Leijon, Horuss Zahhak, and Cronus Ampora are all also meant to mock other aspects of Tumblr (Meulin is supposed to be a caricature of Nepeta and signs in animated GIFs, Horuss is an otherkin, and Cronus is basically Eridan on steroids and pretends to be an otherkin for sympathy)
I started it last year in January, I think, and quit writing on it for 6 months. Turns out people were desperately waiting for me to finish it when I thought nobody even cared about it. So I did a midnight chapter.
Turns out that one of the mods hated me so much on a previous yugioh forum they nuked my account entirely. I was given a 2 year ban, but apparently they were scared that it expired so my account was permabanned afterwards.
Final postscript: Naney, Yarrun and Sunn Wolf are also musicians in their own rights, and TNS is an actual legit recording engineer. We're very musical here.
How did we end up with so many musicians on HH, anyway?
Most of the old guard from the TVT Music subforum migrated here. We were/are a pretty close-knit bunch, as far as vaguely defined Internet cliques go.

^ Eridan's too pathetic to be a creep, although that may not be any better. Cronus is admittedly pretty terrible.
