when i went to colorado a few years ago, everybody there was obsessed with ted nugent.

i was like “who the fuck is ted nugent?”

10 minutes of ranting later, im like, “no, really, who the fuck is ted nugent?”

then someone pulled up cat scratch fever on youtube, and theyre like “he did this song”

it was so fucking unremarkable i cant remember how it goes and this is probably a good thing.

i think i got the message that he likes driving trucks and killing things, but i still really dont know who the fuck ted nugent is

and this seems to enrage country boys.

Ted Nugent is an ultraconservative (as in: he believes you should have to hunt your own food, or else you shouldn't get to eat) asshole who makes unremarkable music. I have no idea why anyone would like him.

He does what I can best describe as a fusion of the worst aspects of country and garage rock, with a little bit of METAL UBER MANLY \m/ thrown in for good measure.

I don't actually know if he still makes music at all. I don't care either. He sucks, and I am a better musician than he is. So are you, for that matter. So are most of the people I know who make music.
