So I received an order for a Wizard Blizzard from Captain Daerkin. Captain Daerkin was one of the two gnomes who can give you a Gnome Scarf. I was about to make the delivery when I realized I had just ran out of Wizard Blizzards a few deliveries ago. Given that I had managed to deliver to him within a minute before without getting the scarf, I obviously wasn't optimistic about my chances to mix the cocktail and deliver it to him.

Random thought of the moment: I wonder how the idea of "winter" came about in a society where the sun and moon must be manually raised and lowered.
Did Celestia and Luna make some kind of deal that one of them got more time during the summer and the other during the winter? Did Celestia do it that way during the thousand years that she was on her own? Was this something the unicorns established in the pre-Equestria era, and the modern princesses merely keep it up out of tradition?

In most states it's 70 or 75 mph, though there are a lot of holdouts (like Ohio) that keep it at 65 mph.
It drops to 55 in a lot of urban areas because urban highways tend to be of long-obsolete design (sharp curves, short/nonexistent merge areas,etc.) and carry several times the traffic load they were built to handle.

I think you're giving them too much credit. If you're not familiar with the idiosyncrasies of fandom it's not obvious that character becoming alicorn = ruined forever.

Also, I keep wondering why they changed "Cadence" to "Cadance", when it's pronounced exactly like the word "cadence".
Argh, I seem to have caught the same stomach bug the rest of my family has. I woke up at like 8 AM and ended up finally puking my guts out at about 10 or so...oh, and I've been having diarrhea, too. :P Fever and chills on top of all this, too. It's not fun.
