I miss having someone to talk with Touhou about, but honestly he and I had a lot of the same problems I do with many other Touhou fans, in that all they ever want to talk about is high scores and speed runs and 1ccs and all of that.

Cream seemed to be the only one who actually played Touhou, so the rest of us were just baffled by that stuff.
A shame, really, since some other aspects of it (the characters, memes, etc.) can be fun.

edit: well I'm alright at the fighting games, but not so much the mainline shmups.
Honestly Touhou is one series where I vastly prefer the fanon to canon. Because the canon is sparse and most of it is weird, and several things are generally agreed to be there just to piss fans off (see: the Moon Princesses).

I'm thinking about doing a post-apoc piece about some North of Englander being trapped on the West Coast of America and the entire story is about travelling across the States trying to get home. So I was asking when I should show the audience the state of the guy's hometown.

Also, while I'm not sure exactly what you mean, the premise is kind of cool. An English Northerner travelling the US after the end sounds like grade-A culture shock drama of the best kind.

i often miss Cream, honestly, but then i remember the circumstances under which they left and, well, there are things i don't miss.
