C'est l'Ohio Interstate 670, pas celui de Kansas City. I've been studying human culture in my spare time...I've heard video games are pretty popular among humans, so I decided to hunt down a copy of the most popular human video game of all time and try it out. It wasn't easy, either...it took a lot of spells to even locate a copy.
And, I must say...it's pretty disturbing. Aside from the fact that it's incredibly violent, it's clearly a piece of human supremacist propaganda--while the object of the game is ostensibly to make it to the end of each course, the game rewards points if the player murders non-human characters along the way. :\
Also, do humans really travel via pipe? That seems somewhat unsanitary.
Ok, it seems the ultimate goal is apparently to rescue some kind of princess from a mutant turtle, albeit one who's neither adolescent nor a ninja.
But every time I try to do so, a sapient mushroom informs me that the princess is, in fact, in a different castle.
How long does this go on? It's starting to get tedious, especially considering that each course seems to be deliberately made more difficult than the last.
The reason the game goes on for 8 worlds (with one castle each) is because the game is a recreation of an ancient event that happened in our history. This tediousness actually happened.
This also explains why the game is so willy-nilly with killing the nonhumans; by this point in time, they've done so much that killing one of them is considered acceptable to do in media.

I seem to be developing an obsession with safety equipment
High-visibility apparel, cones and barricades, safety triangles, emergency lights, etc.
Feels weird, even though it clearly sprung from my traffic control obsession
therefore somehow when I say I want an academically written essay about how people of all races/ethnicities need to both come together but also recognize there are key differences that means I'm trying to speak for all minorities
when I wasn't.
I just think even now people are incredibly separated, causing negative tension. We need our differences but to also find a way to relate to people on a level where we are comfortable.
but nevermind
also make sure to not so subtley call me out in class as "a white woman trying to speak for a latino woman"
