Ugh, Dad's being an ass again.
Our driveway only has room for two cars, so one of us has to park on the street. If I park on the street, I would have to park half a block away so as not to block any mailboxes. If he parks on the street, he can park right in front of the house because he's left for work by the time the mail truck comes around.
I've explained this to him but he still insists that I be the one on the street for no reason other than "because I want the driveway."
I spent most of today helping out my little brothers.
They go to an online school, but there's a heavy homeschooling element, and my stepdad is supposed to be the one teaching them since he's the one without a job. He apparently hasn't been doing a very good job, they couldn't even tell me what they were studying in history class.
So just now I set them up with an episode of Digging For The Truth. I'm hoping it'll at least instill a general interest in history? I'm not sure. I'm just hoping it works.

He only plays a little bit at a time, for some reason, but he got up to the level I forget the name of whose boss is Sociopathic Squid. He was laughing the whole time.

You know, earlier I was trying to imagine an animated adaptation of Heart of the City.
I wonder if anyone but Central Avenue would even watch that, though.
It's not likely to happen anyway; the comic itself is fairly obscure and it's definitely the less popular of Tatulli's two comics.

You don't think it's obscure? It doesn't seem very widely distributed...

I've learned to tolerate drama...except on the boat

It was in the Rocky Mountain News(it and Heart were both E.W. Scripps properties) when that was around; I don't know if it moved to The Denver Post or not

I didn't; someone posted the comic on Tumblr.
Also, The Columbus Dispatch never had Heart, IIRC. I first heard of it online.
usually boy bands sound pretty soulless, but this song struck me as cute and fairly sincere, if somewhat mawkish
You know, it's funny but I kind of agree. It's the reason why don't hate me that band as much as everyone else. The song is terrible, but at least it's sincere to an extent.

My sister is fucking OBSESSED with One Direction
That song up there is her favorite song and she plays it constantly, so it's hard for me to judge it objectively

There is a 2.1 version almost completed, for the .000000000000000000001% of the population that cares.

They're no pop paragons but I don't dislike what I've heard by them
