^^^Look, sorry, I didn't mean to be ultra-negative, I just find the idea silly because A: Tumblr is inherently shitty for communication, yes, but there are other communication methods, and B: how many people are going to use it?
Idaho is probably most noteworthy in that it isn't noteworthy at all. I'm kinda thinking there's a good change you're more up on your American geography than most non-Americans and maybe most Americans.

But i figure not having heard of any US state would be pretty unusual for a native English speaker. i could understand maybe overlooking some of the smaller, New England states, like New Hampshire for instance, but that's about it.

One thing that always got me: people who insist the US has 52 states because "you have to count Alaska and Hawaii". Really?
Also, did anyone else ever have to do that thing in elementary school where you identify the states by their shapes? Because Colorado and Wyoming can go fuck themselves.

That's legitimately impressive considering not many people I've spoken to in my lifetime (American or otherwise) seem to know it exists.
