Wait does that mean I can take pictures of the rednecks who just got out of bootcamp and act like asses all over town and get them demoted? Assuming they're wearing their uniform, which, if that's a uniform, I'm pretty sure the cargo shit they wear is also a uniform.
Because I don't like those people, and neither do any of the people in town who've served in the military for more than a few months.

Beats me, the only branch of the service that I know of who's hardass about that sort of thing is the Marines
Oh, well I only know a few marines in person and they're all respectable people for the most part.
idk what branch these guys are even in or in what capacity (I assume some kind of reserve), but it's a rather popular thing to do around here as a right of passage and I (and a number of the other non-physically inclined people in high school) actually got shit for not signing up.
I'm not sure if it's a by-branch thing or just a personality thing but everyone I know who's been in the armed forces seems to have either thought it was the best or wost decision of their entire life.
I respect my dad's opinion when it comes to certain things and given that we have pretty similar personalities, if he didn't like the armed forces I don't think I'd like them either.
He works on cars now. He used to actually work for NASCAR but now he runs his own shop fixing regular cars I think.
I should really talk to him sometime, I haven't spoken to him in almost three years now.

I currently have a PC-Engine Duo RX on the way because a few years ago my sister threw my Duo away. I also have a Saturn on its way that I found on Amazon for $40 because for some reason I can't find my fucking sega saturn. I thought I brought it here with me, in fact I'm sure of it
I've learned to tolerate drama...except on the boat
The Saturn itself seems to be good, it's just that Sega of America handled it so moronically that they opened the door for Sony to replace them as Nintendo's rival.
I have the demo of it (first like, two levels I think) downstairs on my 360, but I kept dying like, a minute after starting.
I don't have the patience to get good at games that require you to get good to beat them. I respect people who do, but I'm not one of them.
Hell, I haven't even finished Outland, which is a platformer with a similar problem (it also takes some cues from Ikaruga). I only even want to finish that one because I paid money for it.

RS gets easier the more you play it -- which means to say it powers up your ship and gives you more credits and lives to play with so that over time even the world's worst shmup player can play all the way through it even if they're dying every second. The demo probably isn't set up to do that.
I hope it does too but having seen some of the games in development for it I'm not too confident. Most of what's on there atm looks like shovelware at best. :/

I guess that's to be expected -- isn't the development system like super-expensive?

I don't think so. I think it's like $150 or something which is dirt cheap compared to devkits for other consoles as I understand it. I'm not 100% sure though.
Yeah but most of the games I've seen are not promising and all the ports at this point are tentative.

FT LEONARD WOOD, MO - A soldier with the 318th Military Police Company is being processed out of the Army after being found by his Sergeant Major as having “his goddamn hands in his pockets,” according to his discharge paperwork.
According to his unit, Sergeant Thomas Burnette is pending separation for failing to maintain the Army’s standards. His separation comes at a time when the Army is cracking down on maintaining a “soldierly” appearance.
The guidelines of soldierly appearance are not entirely clear, but in a memo penned by Command Sergeant Major of the Army Raymond Chandler, the top enlisted leader pushed for non-commissioned officers Army-wide to crack down on “soldiers looking like bags of smashed assholes.”
It's weird how obsessed some people on rap forums are with fashion.
THAT'S BECAUSE RAP IS
GAY
The harder a man tries to look manly, the deeper in the closet he looks. The reverse also applies: The less effort made in any direction, the more convincing.

I still burst out laughing. Possibly because I am exhausted right now.

My dad hated being in the Navy.
*shrug*

What's it do?Ah, interesting.
I think the only older system I would buy nowadays if I could find one for sale (at a reasonable price) would probably be the Dreamcast.
Anything else? Meh. It's generally stuff that's either too recent or stuff one can just emulate.
That's just me of course, some people demand the authentic experience, which is fine.
My gaming life outside of PC and the 360 downstairs is pretty much dead. I have a 3DS but no games for it.
I want this quite a bit but don't understand why it's four dollars more than the one with the oni girl on it.
I thought the Saturn was generally considered to be a pretty poor system?
I might be remembering wrong though.
Really wish I could find an affordable Dreamcast though.
I tried playing Radiant Silvergun once.
I refer to certain games as "not being for me". RS was one of those.

whoop whoop.
Speaking of speaking of vidya games. The Ouya launches pretty soon. I wonder how that's gonna pan out.
Did you hear about Lance Armstrong?
Apparently he did drugs in at least 7 Tour De France's
Could you imagine the fallout if he won at least one of them?
