Crimson Shroud (クリムゾンシュラウドKurimuzon Shuraudo?) is a traditional adventureRPG created by Yasumi Matsuno, developed internally at Level-5[11] alongside Nex Entertainment.[1] The player is a "Chaser", someone who is an expert at searching for people. The game is set 1,000 years in the past in a world without magic, and the story details how magic became commonplace in its world.

I've learned to tolerate drama...except on the boat
Chuck Lorre is apparently some master of awful TV shows
Two and a Half Men apparently sucks yet has managed to stay on for ten years, every now and then people sing the criticisms of The Big Bang Theory, and as far as I can tell nobody cares about Mike & Molly

...Okay, this is stupid. I'm acting like it's already too late to do anything productive, but I'm going to be up another 6 hours or so anyway and that's plenty of time to accomplish something.
I wish I didn't feel emotionally drained. It's like early 2011 all over again.
Just because their depictions fit your anecdotal evidence doesn't mean that they encompass the majority of nerddom.
Avoiding cultural/racial/ethnic stereotypes is important for shows that deal heavily in cultural/racial/ethnic stuff (though really, they should be avoided in general). It causes lazy character writing and poorly depicts the culture/race/ethnicity that's being represented.
Say that there's a show focusing on a cast of black people. The cast is shown to be lazy and shiftless, and jokes about their love of chicken and watermelon are the bulk of the show's comedy. Someone might say that the show's an accurate depiction of the folks down the street (and there are, no doubt, folks that do fit that description), but that doesn't make the depiction healthy or beneficial from a social or literary standpoint
I feel so horrible for laughing at that example. While one part of me understands your point of view, the other half wishes that show was real. It would be like the Tyler Perry Show, except hilarious.
The Fresh Prince of Bel Air had a lazy but street smart black lead with a pompous rich uncle who has strayed from his roots and a smart but lacking in common sense cousin.
This is a show with a cast full of stereotypes and as a result is terrible.

^^^It sounds like something no network in their right mind would greenlight but considering that they're mostly run by 50-something white men in their rich white person bubble they just might >_>
I feel so horrible for laughing at that example. While one part of me understands your point of view, the other half wishes that show was real. It would be like the Tyler Perry Show, except hilarious.
Honestly, I sometimes want a show where everyone is a stereotype, except it'd be taken off the air so quickly.
That, and it'd probably only be funny for like a week tops.
What I'm getting at is that they're just sitcoms. They're not designed to be great, just for a few cheap chuckles. There's really no reason at all to think about them too hard. It's like having Roger Ebert review a home movie.

Unless it was animated. It was okay for Toot Braunstein to be a fat worthless piece of shit, it was okay for Clara to be an extremely bigoted and racist xenophobe, and Xandir to be a fruity spineless queer, and Ling Ling to be a chicken-fucker and a horrible driver.
....don't mind that they got cancelled, it was just because South Park dominated the Comedy Central unit and Darwin's Law of Animation made them go extinct.

Comedy Central didn't really like DT
In its third season they actually moved it out of the post-South Park timeslot in a blatant attempt to kill it, but it didn't work and they soon moved it back there
Well South Park was far more cost efficient and reliable, and DT did bring in the views and it's notoriety did increase the amount of views (although the ratings were holy-shit horrible, so horrible DT even made an episode about it). It took around 6 months to finish animating a DT episode while South Park took less time, so to save money (and spare their reputation) they axed the show.

I'm pretty sure you want Glee. I haven't heard much about it, but I do know that they made a leprechaun joke about an Irish student.

Alright, I misspoke.
Such shows should avoid negative stereotypes and focus on more positive aspects.
Fresh Prince has a black family that's generally well-off, well-educated and respectable. The Prince himself, while a troublemaker, is shown to recognize his mistakes. It portrays the black family in a positive way, despite the use of stereotypes. BBT, in contrast, doesn't celebrate any of the positive facets of nerddom. It just portrays stereotypically nerdy activities and puts a laugh track behind them. If anything, it's encouraging the mockery of nerddom rather than helping it.

Kexy, they're important because BBT is generally lauded as the representative sitcom for nerds.
Their treatment of nerds and nerds culture is very important.
