woop.
however I think there's something off about their downloads, because it includes a disapproving message from the dev about how you shouldn't steal games even if you download it legitimately, and I know I did.
You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022
you know what's weird
i've got this thing in front of me where if i press buttons, letters happen
like
zzzzzz
i just made z's appear out of thin air by pressing a button with a z on it

it's not really a roguelike, it just has some roguelike elements. And you do have to start over if you die, but it's not a turn-based game or anything, it's a top down shooter a bit like Berzerk.
also the Extra version is disappointingly buggy and lacks leaderboards, luckily the Extra download came with a copy of the next build for the original, so I should be good.
We demand the heads of Bruce Mitchell, and Bobby Gerald Wilson.
You would not want to jeopardize the fragile diplomatic relations established by the Brothers Kratt, would you?

P.S. Ignore the stupid androgynous alligator who delivers this message. I am not responsible for any damage this stupid subject of mine does to any almond trees. Apologies for how bad it smells, but I had to get it away somehow, preferably on a long, long journey that may or may not turn out to be fatal. You know how such things go.
Mojave: Yes, the intent is good but the over simplicity and the idea you too can develop strong independent-ness via a how to guide is funny.
Also lines like this bug me a bit:
Women need to stick together. Most men will not help you out without wanting something in return, so the only ones that we can turn to is ourselves
Um okay, maybe I'm just a weirdo, but in my experience, regardless of gender, almost everyone wants something in return and will take advantage of you.

Yes, but this ruins the whole us vs. them vibe America has been going on since, well, the past 20 years

Ugh, sleepdep headache again
I need to stop doing this to myself...I'm sure its not good for my body, and, it's no even funny any more like it was the first couple times

Ah, yes, I always forget about that.
I actually think that's poisonous on many levels because Us v. Them is often adopted by marginalized groups (such as females/women). I understand that there is a sense of unity and support to be had. However, when that sort of separation into sides happens then (if your in the marginalized group) you feel the group has flaws or is not truly fully supportive/kind/together and pretends it's not then you are the antagonist. Well, that's just my badly worded opinion, anyway. Hopefully this doesn't open up a can of worms. >.>
Cream, simply put I find the entire notion of "privilege" to be devoid of merit, and a few months ago Bobby and I had quite an discussion about it so I'm going to refer you to it: It starts here. And specifically this post here.
In that thread I state every reason I have for my position on the subject and I'm sure nobody in this thread wants a retread of it.
As i've stated elsewhere, i don't feel i did the argument justice in that thread, nor that i even successfully defined privilege in it, and that last post of yours doesn't even address the concept itself, instead attacking the methodology of an article about it.
Privilege has a meaning. It's not a mere buzzword, and its use in discussions of discrimination long predates Peggy McIntosh's use of the term (though she may have popularized its current online use). It's not synonymous with being a creep, a jerk or a misogynist, either. The article Cream posted defines it perfectly clearly, and unless, like Kex said, you completely ignored it, your response makes no sense.
It has some good points, but I think the author is overlooking something in that it wasn't just that she was a girl, it was also that she was an outsider commenting on comic books negatively. Now, the guy who talked to her is a douche who could have handled a situation in a way that didn't bring up her gender, but she did walk into a nerd sanctuary and started commenting on things negatively.
Many people would be defensive in this situation.
This is a good point, but he presumably didn't know her, and women within the comics fandom have also been quite vocally critical of the portrayals of women, so i hardly think it's an excuse.
Also, as you went on to point out, it partially was because she was a woman, hence the privilege argument. If i were to go into a comic store as an outsider and criticize, say, the designs of the weapons and costumes, without bringing gender into the equation, i highly doubt i'd be treated the same way.

I'd argue that's more a "people in general" thing, unfortunately.
If I could escape the Us vs. Them thing by moving to Canada I would. :/
