It is indeed real. I came across it while looking for Heart of the City books.
Turns out there's only one, and it's long been out of print. I might buy a used copy, though.

Ok guys, serious question time:
For the past few months, I've been paying for gas to get around out of the remnants of my student loan from last semester. But that's starting to run out, and I want to save a bit for other things (i.e., clothes). Also I still don't have a job.
Since I'm out of school now and a good 90% of my driving is stuff I'm doing for my parents (like transporting my brother to/from school), would it be appropriate to ask them to pay for the gas to do so?

You're probably the best gauge to figure out if they wouldn't mind. I'm assuming they're letting you stay home rent free , so you're probably getting something in return, but also guessing that's been par for the course since your birth.
It sounds like the sort of situation you could explain and they probably would cough up a little money to help with gas, though.

If you feed the Mogwai at 6 a.m., it turns into something like Godzilla, etc. What happens to the Mogwai depends on when you feed it. That poor kid in the movie just had the bad luck to feed them at a time that would turn them into something mobile instead of a plant.

"Tracy" is the only Mogwai track I like that I've heard.
i listened to a fair bit of mogwai a while ago and found it good enough but this is the only track that sticks with me now as being good
