I've been using my old Sony headphones (the ones I jury-rigged sometime last month) because the ones I got for Christmas don't sound as good.
I'm not complaining, though; my brother and sister both had headphones on their Christmas list too and I know my parents can't afford three pairs of really nice-sounding headphones.
The new ones are more comfortable, admittedly, and they look cool.

I don't know, they're some no-name-brand labeled only "DJ Headphones" (as if) and I only have half the packaging so I can't find the manufacturer.
well if you're using headphones for DJing they don't actually have to do much except have 1 cord, be fairly durable, and let you hear all the percussion

Of my two pairs, the cheaper one actually has nicer pads and so it can block out the noise better when I wear them nice and snug.
This is kinda pointless when I'm the only one up, but when my sister is blasting One Direction from the room directly above me it's a nice feature to have.

Sound quality is really, really subjective, especially with headphones -- but I think that for the most part, there's not too much that separates high end from low end.

Amazon offers them for £9.88 although they cost me closer to £30 from the shop, so that was stupid.
They blot out other sounds, but that's not always helpful, and sometimes they give me migraines.
