It and Dave the Barbarian got axed for not fitting in very well/low ratings. Dave should have lasted longer.

Because Brandy & Mr. Whiskers is a dumb pile of crap. I'm sure Mr. Whiskers is based in part on SpongeBob, too.

Also Charlie Adler keeps slipping into his Red Guy voice for him and that makes me want to watch Cow and Chicken instead. It's rare for something to make me want to watch Cow and Chicken! (Of course, the Red Guy voice is similar to the Ed Bighead voice, too, but still pretty distinct from it.)

He was established as the Devil in the pilot, "No Smoking". They only started calling him "The Red Guy" or some other name when it became a regular series.

During the summer, there were a couple times when AU and I would watch Cow and Chicken on Boomerang and comment to each other via Trash Heap.

Sort of the low-tech version of streaming it together, I suppose.

Cow and Chicken is weird, to me. The only common opinions on it seem to be "I loved that when I was a kid" and "It's a crappy Ren & Stimpy knockoff". It was stupid-funny earlier in its run, but by the end it was really not consistently good. The taint even managed to spread to I Am Weasel (one of the big changes was offsetting I.M. Weasel's "perfection" by making him more smug, which obviously made him more annoying).

I saw it earlier used on the little light-up signs in a car wash (you know, the ones that say "pre-rinse", "super soak", "spot-free shine", etc.) and thought it looked very 1990s, but this car wash was built in 2004.

Eww, reminds me of The Sims online and that is not a good thing to be reminded of.

I still associate Benguiat Gothic heavily with The Sims 2, myself.
