I don't understand social norms sometimes.
Like the idea that if two people are passing by in a narrow space, one is supposed to let the other go first. Why? You're not fucking automobiles; you're human beings and can easily turn and squeeze past one another.

If it's a parent with a child in tow, or carrying one, then it's understandable. Or if it's an elderly person, it'd be rude to just shove past them.
That's two I can think of off the top of my head, but all-around it just seems like the polite thing to do.
According to my world history teacher, chivalrous knights let the ladies into doors first as a defense mechanism to make sure they weren't the first ones killed in case of an altercation.

1 I can tell if you've copied. First of all you're a active watcher (which isn't a bad thing), second if you've tried and tried to get a custom/adoptable but haven't succeeded you start making creatures with egg shaped masks, that are black with long deer-like legs and have similar desgins to that of mines. ~I also REALLY hate the people who know that they've copied but still buys their crap, because its a "cheaper" version

All of Tokyo, as far as I can tell, looks exactly like this. That set of pictures I posted are from both Taito and Nakano, which are on opposite ends of Tokyo. The uniformity was somewhat unsettling, however, that's broken up by the frightening power grid that everything is haphazardly wired into
