Man is a most complex simple creature: see what he weaves, and how base his reasons for doing so.
Also, I didn't like Watchmen because it focused entirely on the costumes and didn't have the subplots of the two guys at the newspaper stand, the middle-aged lesbians, and the psychiatrist and his marriage. All of which had this great thing where because of some reason relating to their character development ended up in the same place at the same time.
Doctor Who reference in Pokemon B2W2? Headcanon accepted.
I didn't like the comics, either. Doesn't help that I think Alan Moore is nothing more than a highly overrated fanfic writer, the type who takes children's entertainment and turns it into a grim/gritty violent nightmare
On American-owned airlines? Except for maybe Southwest Airlines, no. I was surprised that on Singapore Airlines, they gave us actual metal silverware to use and not plastic cutlery
You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022
This might be a silly place to put his collar, but it's somewhere I'll always be able to see it...

Yep.
It's the most prominently-placed thing in my room, so I put his collar on top of it...

I'm pretty sure this is a no-kill shelter.
Also, it's not like they would kill him the very next day. -_-
Of course, when Summit Entertainment went and split Breaking Dawn into two parts, I was irritated, despite not being a Twilight fan, because it struck me as a blatantly transparent attempt at milking the fandom by squeezing one extra movie out of the saga.
That's just about my reaction to the Hobbit trilogy that's currently in production.
If you have to add two subplots, each with their own antagonist, to the story you're adapting, you're doing something wrong.

Sometimes I make a stupid joke and then think of a better one after the fact.

I find it amusing that both Harry Potter and The Hobbit were from WB (technically New Line in the latter's case though)
They wanted the Deathly Hallows technique to work again
Can't speak for Deathly Hallows or Breaking Dawn, but I felt like the Hobbit movie was calculated rather than written. Like the whole movie was based on an algorithm, designed to create a decent movie with as little effort as possible. Like the changes to the plot were due to laziness rather than expediency.

that combined with the 'looking off at a 45 degree angle to the camera' and the lighting makes it faintly reminiscent of those awful portrait photographs (you know the ones i mean, the 'they told me i could become anything...' kind). and then they just look like none of them have seen anything except a basement or possibly the inside of a studio in months. its just perfect. i love them.

I should read the comics sometime.
Watchmen that was.
And yes it is a music reference, to a band I care less than nothing about

CA: sorry to hear that you had to give up your pet. That's always tough.
You should tell them this.
a cool performance, if you like prog-metally shit and insanely ridiculously good vocalists
i also love how they look like the gooniest motherfuckers alive even in their own promo shot:
now thats how prog bands are supposed to look, none of this handsome opeth nonsense *robert fripp sheds a single tear*
