GREETINGS, HUMANS! I am Gilda, the AWESOME gryphon!
Palm, that company that was famous for PalmPilots but isn't anymore, had two phones in 2009, both having different ad campaign styles.
The Pre had commercials with, well... well they looked like this:
They didn't go over well because the other ones were kinda creepy thanks to the girl. Palm learned from this though and they went with a different kind of ad for the Pixi:
Despite their efforts, neither phone could hold its own against the iPhone. Kinda sad, too, I wanted a Pixi so bad but I was on AT&T...
You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022
Number of newspapers that carry Lio: about 330
Number of newspapers that carry Garfield: about 2,580
I get the feeling newspaper comics is one of those industries that favors big names and big brands over actual quality or talent.

It's true. The title would only be a name though. I'm not much for governing others, especially in a system based on nepotism. You know, sibling rivalry and all.

You all seem to be seeing it as cotton-candy pink. I saw it as blood-diluted-in-water pink.
...which probably says more about me than it does the photo.

So for anyone who still isn't convinced that Ohio is as flat as a pancake, here are some photos of a rural highway:
Pretty boring, eh? Of course, the good thing is that no hills and no steep grades means you can drive as fast as—

US 23 in particular seems to be a favorite hangout of the state troopers nowadays.
It's also one of few highways in Central Ohio that still has the dual 65/55 speed limit.
Draw your own conclusions.
Sounds like the most logical one to me. Makes me wonder if the 23 is one that drivers try to speed through or suffer through (that is, being a required route)

Also there's a big confectionery place right off US 23 called Coons Candy.
I get that it's probably a family name from several generations ago but I still kinda cringe every time I see the sign.

I should probably go to bed.
Not me
I prefer hugging the ground and I look terrible in a dress and tiara
Or it did back when the Life, etc. section was a thing anyway. I dunno if it's still there.
You know, it's weird. She's pretty, but the dialogue kind of makes her give off a weird vibe.
Seems a little... stilted. Uncanny valleyish, if that's a thing that lines can be.
Crazy how I don't even need to tell you these things...
no one's here
I am not connected.
Sitting here going through all those artbooks I purchased, for the first time. Trying to get inspired or something.

This is fairly amusing.

I seem to have missed her.
