Speaking of faces, one thing the later games have over Persona 1 in my mind is that the characters have different facial expressions. I know I shouldn't expect too much from a game made in 1996, but it is a little weird that Mark's face looks like that for the whole game, even when it doesn't fit what he's saying.

WHINING AHEAD
I wonder what my mother would think of my desire to live in New York City. She'd probably tell me that I can't handle it, since it would mean being around people pretty much 24/7.
And she's right, I guess, it would definitely be outside my comfort zone, but, like...my comfort zone is boring as fuck. I don't want to spend the rest of my life living in some boring-ass, no-culture suburb where nothing is withing walking distance just because the idea of living somewhere busier is scary, you know?

But New York is special
It occupies a unique place in our culture. It's almost like a mythical place to me; my entire life I've grown up hearing about New York City and how unique it and how important it is, but I've never been there.
And I have this burning desire to know what life there is like...and how can I ever know that if I don't try living there?
