At the risk of not catching anyone who's interested in Fire Emblem, I have a question to ask. I'm asking it here because I don't want to triplepost in the video game thread.
I'm on Chapter 11 of Shadow Dragon. I have a Master Seal, which lets me promote people. I have six people at Level 20:
* the two Cavaliers I got at the start of the game: Cain and Abel
* Lena, a Cleric (and probably the best out of my three Clerics)
* Matthis, who was a Cavalier but is now an Archer because I think it fits him better
* Roger, a Knight (who seems to be slightly stronger than my other one)
* and Wrys, another Cleric (who I don't really have any plans to use anymore; I'm just including him for completeness's sake)

On the toy side, I think G1 had the best pony designs, with G3.5 being the worst. G3 and G4 are somewhere in the middle.
I haven't seen much of the pre-FIM cartoons, but G1's strikes me as pretty good--Lauren Faust loved it, after all--while G3's is, like, what everybody who's never watched and MLP cartoon thinks an MLP cartoon would be like.

This may be true for the Army or Air Force or maybe even the Navy, but the USMC is one of the toughest boot camps in the world and the washout rate is pretty fucking high. Best thing I ever did with my life
