im seriously considering editing this and moving noct to #3 which is something i never would have thought of doing after it was first released, its like mars volta redux. omar is moving in the drection that i think would be best for tmv: strip it down and pump out some proper hard and fast modern prog rock, short sharp bursts. get rid of the synth warbles and halfassed ballads (in absentia is the exception not the rule) and just make an album of shit like Aegis, Molochwalker, Dyslexicon. shit that'd be hot. no epic conceptual sweep, no 10-minute songs, just an album thats like being punched in the face with time signatures ten times over the course of a 40 minute album. omar do this please. thanks

there is a book that comes with some copies of the album that is meant to clarify the album (ive read it, it clarifies shit all other than explaining that the moaatatatailaiiatta thing that cedric goes on about is... uh... a snake... god... thing... that does... something. and there are a lot of drugs.)
very good album tho. still holds up after 9 years of fairly regular listening on my part

^Yes, they said that as well. I don't know a lot about the NRA, but it seems they are so worried about guns being banned permanently. I understand that yeah, you don't want your gun taken away because of the minority of people who abuse it. However, gun control is still very important because of how easily guns can be abused and gun control does not necessarily mean guns are banned forever. Unfortunately, the NRA just seems to be awful at understanding this and compromising. Though, again, I don't know a lot about them as an organization, so my opinion may not necessarily be correct.

Well it looks good as a piece of another era and what was considered revolutionary, I think...
That's what I was getting at. It doesn't compare to modern CGI, but it unlike a lot of more cheaply-made CGI from its era, it's still pleasant to look at.
