AU: The problem I have with OTC now isn't so much that people like to pick fights there, as that the topics themselves are just, well, depressing. Censorship! War! Bad policies! It seems like an unending litany of fucking emo.

If I want to know what's going on, that's what my radio, Google News and news.bbc.co.uk are for. OTC is really not much better than the comment sections on news sites, which I make a point of not reading, so why bother?

The one topic I've kept coming back to is DJay32's story, and that's because it's actual real-life drama unfolding as it happens, not just another damned thinly-veiled complaint thread that will be full of circular arguments and name-calling. That said, now that he's back in the UK, news is somewhat thin on the ground.

Justice: That thread actually does make some sense to me, but on the other hand, I don't really feel strongly enough about it to keep reading.

AU: While I'm sure it'd save the mods some trouble in the meantime (I hear it's as bad about thumps and mod actions as IJBM used to be), I worry about its gloomy topics and violent attitude carring over into YF and dooming it, too (as well as giving Eddie yet another reason to just shut down everything not wiki-related, like he's been threatening on and off for the past two years).
