The stripes in the IBM logo bug me. Apparently Rand added them because photocopiers of the era handled logos with large dark areas poorly. I guess I understand that rationale, but why not de-uglify it now that, y'know, that's not a problem anymore?

There could be a section where you get to put together a bunch of gadgets to do something like that. There would be a bunch of pieces sitting around and you have to put them together and set them off just right. With COD volunteers standing by to help you, of course, because if the MythBusters are anything to go by getting a Rube Goldberg machine to work is a pain in the ass.
For some reason I imagine this section would be on some kind of mezzanine-like area with an open view of the first floor below.

I came up with the idea of buying a significant stake in BBC America and changing its name to "Whatever", in the style of the UKTV names (e.g. "Really").
I'm thinking that ITC Benguiat Gothic would be a good choice for the logotype. It's really rather sardonic-looking, set the way it is.

And I kinda wonder what a 2000s nostalgia boom would be like. I imagine there'd be a lot of rose-colored glasses being worn, given how shitty and depressing a lot of that decade actually was.

...You know, I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up being like 1950s nostalgia. You'd have the overly nostalgic view that presents everything as happy and innocent and a great time to live, then you'd have the "accurate" historical view that shows it as shithole that nobody would want to live in.
